*buys Arma II: Combined Ops* *Installs DayZ* *finds out computer is too slow to run DayZ* me: nooo

After I finally install Arma II: Combined Ops and downloaded the latest patch just for DayZ, I go on a DayZ server and find out my computer is too bad to play it. (it lags like hell whenever I play it) I find a warehouse and find a player, told him "I'm friendly, I'm new and I just joined" He says nothing and walks inside the warehouse and I come in and his friend has a gun. They walk in the back room and I think DCed. Lagging obsessivly, I find a hatchet in some sorta warehouse in a construction area with a dock infront of it near the coast. I also find a hunting knife and x3 cans of sardines, no water though. Then I DC. The end :) btw, how can you reduce lag? i have the latest patch installed and use six updater to launch DayZ. Help please?

Do I need the Torrent at the DayZ download page to run DayZ? What is it for?

I can play DayZ still, but it is EXTREAMLY laggy. Can anyone give me any tips on how to reduce lag? I use the Six launcher but I don't know if my DayZ is up to date. How can I install the latest DayZ? *Also, how can I talk with people? Which chat channel is it? thanks!

I've been wondering what some good guns might be, so what is the best Sniper, SMG, or Assualt Rifle in the game? I've only found one LMG and it's the MP5 (i think). Is that a good gun?

I'm new to DayZ (just heard about it and is thinking about buying it) but one question has had me confused. How do I install DayZ, what do I need? People keep saying you need Arma II: Combined Operations, but also some say you need Arma IIl Operation Arrowhead. Which one do I need, or do I need both? Please answer :)
