You router is likely being 'flooded' by server communication requests. This kind of problem is quite common when using a multiplayer server browser. Its a security 'feature' on the modem/router that thinks your system is under attack. I'd do a Google search for such a problem in relation to your router/modem type. There are different ways to fix this depending on your hardware. This is my guess... but worth looking into.

Sounds like a great idea. I'll try and join you on TS sometime. I won't put in an application now, as just like you want to hear me on TS i want to get to know/hear you too. :) Right now I'm heavily armed.. M14, M249 & NVG and am looking for some revenge on some bandits! Teaming up with some other with good intentions sounds great.

Ok i just found a heli site with 3 beauties at it.. AS50 with no ammo.. M14 EP1 with 3 clips FN FAL ANPV S4 with one clip. I only had a shitty Czech Backpack.. so could only carry one and put one in pack. Its the 1st time i've found either the FN FAL ANPV S4 or AS50.. I decided to leave the AS50 as it had no ammo. I've just logged out with the FN FAL ANPV S4 in my pack.. i hope to god its there when i log back in! Maybe i should have had in my hand when i logged out... but i decided the more versatile M14 would be better for all around..hmmm What would you have done?

I try and play on the same sever every time.. so depends when i log in.

Hmm i may have messed up then.. i thought the ANPV S4 was a IR scope.. is it just night vision? I already have NVGs.. Oh well lesson for the future. I'm not a bandit.. well not intentionally, so not much of a sniper. Hmm the AS50 would have been good for counter sniping.. doh. I probably should have taken that. The weapon in my pack will probably vanish anyway :)

Yes. Murders equal low humanity i assume... But what equals good humanity? Helping others? What about bandits helping each other? That should not increase humanity levels..

I need to know if this is a common problem, it's not happened to me before. I had two rifles, an AKM & a MP5A5. The MP5A5 was in my pack.. i had used it several times, switching between it and my AKM. I logged out and when i logged back in the next day i had 10 empty slots in the backpack and no MP5A5. Is this a common bug? As it will influence greatly how i play.. I was using the Czech Backpack. Luckily the MP5 is pretty crap..but as i'm searching for heli sites right now I'd hate this to happen to a really rare beast. (I've already lost a Bizon & M14 through putting them down and them disappearing) Cheers.

No. On server restart helis respawn in random locations.. but once looted they remain empty.

I think if such episodes are scarce enough it's a great idea. And would add a lot to the game.

Arma is the only engine where you cant throw a stone across the map. Simple.

I found a bicycle in a shed recently... was fun, silent and fast to get around on. But generally i just trek.. i don't trek from a location on one side of the map to the other.. i visit every interesting place on the way. Its the journey not the destination that i enjoy! The NW airfield is a death trap.. i prefer deer stands & heli sites for my military loot.

Ok.. I'm in some trouble. I bumped into a fellow survivor who shot 1st but not last! Our little gun fight also brought a lot of Zeds to me..while i lay with broken legs and bleeding badly. I survived, and luckily had a morphine on me. I have no matches.. so hunting is not an option to get my blood up. (I have knife & hatchet). I had 4 tins on me so i ate them all.. I'm outside Zelenogorsk, wanting to get to the market for supplies, i'm on 1,800 blood and am passing out every few minutes. Not sure what the hell to do. I'm worried if i go into the town i'll pass out with Zeds around me...but i have no other option. So i have a few questions: At what level of blood will i stop regularly passing out? Will my actions affect how often i pass out? Will a Zed get aggroed by me if i'm passed out and they see me? What would you do?.. i wont suicide. Thanks

Thanks that is really helpful. I was really hoping the level was 2000 blood when i'd stop passing out..that way one tin of food n the market would have been enough. I agree, if i had of spawned near Cherno or Electro i would not have left without matches... but i didn't so decided to head for Zelenogorsk for the missing supplies.. unfortunately ran into him jumpy on the way. I'm just gonna have to crawl in super careful and hope to god there are some matches in town or a ton of cans.. its a bitch of a town to not agrro any Zeds in.. but i might be lucky. I'm on the right side to get to the market. Regarding banditry.. i'll have to kill anyone i see...survival time right now. Normally i wouldn't.. but i want to live! I'll use my MP5SD6 with one clip to kill any Zeds i have to on the way in, I also have a AKM with plenty of ammo.... wish me luck, i'm gonna need it. :)

Everything you say points to your CPU as a bottleneck.

I died recently... now whenever i join a server I start in the Wilderness.. it does not ask me if i want to be male or female, I just spawn in the middle of nowhere. Using Dayz 1.2.3 Arma Beta patch. 1.61.94876 Happens on all servers i've tried. No idea what to do... I've had a search here in the forums and can't see this issue. Please help as i can't play at all. Thanks

Well there are a lot of setting is Arma video section.. why don't you detail what yours actually are.. might well help.

If there were no bandits the game would be boring. I play the good guy, and only fire in self defence...but i still like bandits. Makes the game far more tense.
