2. There was a time, not so long ago when people had no steel/carbon allyos. But they had and used Crossbows. So what where they made of if not wood? 4. A modern "Crossbow" can for sure penetrate a human skull, depending on the force, range and where it impacted the skull. Matter of Fact they are designed to penetrate armor not even speaking of bones. But like you said, you shoot bows, not crossbows.

I dont like crosshairs, i like them even less in combination with 3rd person... it just feels wrong to sit behind a wall and see whats on the other side an maybe also shooting through when i got something strong enough. +1 remove

Love the crossbow, gives you so many sneaky-sneaky possibilities and mostly no ammo problems. When the bolt/inventory/space problem gets fixed it will become a lot more popular for sure. I hope in the SA we will see a lot more crossbows/bows in many versions, just imagine an old medieval crossbow that somebody could have found in a museum near one of the castles.

Different maps would be a really great thing, combined with 2-3 types of compasses i would really make the orienteering aspect more of an actual challenge. Notes would be nice too, but for that i would like to see something special for. A notebook of some sort (when you found one of course!) for all kinds of stuff, loot locations, encounters and all the stuff people write down.

I find it kind of hard to believe that hey would just killed everybody with "hacked" gear. Not after all that "if you found it, you can keep it" stuff in the past, does not really fit together. My Character was around 4 weeks old, good gear and stuff. I also had a "hacked" weapon, was a PDW SD i found on some guy near stary, looked funny and so i took it. Never really used it, since it uses the M9 SD ammo. I dont think that there will be any hopes of getting the old chars back and i am more or less fine with that. Whats really bothering me is that nobody told us anything about it, after all its not like they said "hacked guns are evil and we will do something/someday about it" But logging in the next day and respawning at the coast without any reason is just wrong.
