Well I only called it lag b/c I didnt know what else to call it.. It happens on every server, single player, and regular Arma 2. It is basically just a half second delay from when you move your mouse up to look up for example, but the motion on the screen will only happen like a half a second after I move the mouse instead of right away which gets really annoying when your trying to aim at moving, glitchy targets.

Hello, I have a new computer about a month old with a NVDIA GeForce 660 ti graphics card, intel i5 processor, 10% overclocking, and also 8gb of ram. Therefore my pc should be able to run DayZ just fine considering I can run any other game on my pc. But in day z when I look around it seems to lag from when I move my mouse around to my person actually looking around. I know that Arma 2 is old so is it just the game or is there a setting to fix this annoying delay from my mouse to the actual motions/movements ingame?

Same happens to me, but I wait til i bleed out and than i respawn and die again and get the hour glass symbol and than bleed out and spawn and get the symbol and so-on

I was playing one time and fell from a light house and it was taking for ever to bleed out so I quit. Then later I rejoined and I eventually bled out and died. Than I respawned and didn't go through that screen where you chose male or female for some reason and when I finished loading it showed that hour glass on the screen and I was on the ground slowly bleeding out. I eventualy died again only to encounter the same problem a few more times. I don't know whats wrong and I don't know how to fix it. And also when im on the screen bleeding out I cant even hit escape to kill myself

I have tried killing myself multiple times but i still spawn without a gun, therefore making me defenseless. Is this a bug or do you now not spawn with a gun? because on the multiple videos i have watched of day z every body spawns with atleast a crappy pistol

I can play single player on low settings fine so Im pretty sure thats not the problem

So i spent $30 and got arma 2 just for this mod. Now i have a laptop which has like 2.6 ghz and 6gb ram, but a crappy graphics card (intel family...). I can play single player fine but when I go to join a server (normal or day z) it like sends me through 3 or so loading screens, occasionally saying "battleeye initialization failuer" during one of the loading screens. But after all of these loading screens I get sent right back to the main menu... I haave no idea what is wrong and I really want to play the game/mod, so please help, thanks.
