So i download dayZ, but whenever I run it, it says i cant open addons (alot of them). I tried verifying the cache, but it always finds tons of problems.

Well I was able to verify a few times, but now I just get a black screen.

DayZ is really laggy for me, so can anyone tell me what I have to buy to stop the lagging? (Better graphics card or RAM) Specs: AMD Anthlon™ 64 x2 Dual Processor 4000+ 2.10 ghz 32 bit operating system RAM - 1982 Nvidia Geforce 6150se Nforce 430 i just want the minimum upgrades so I have no lag to the gameplay.

Well if i turn everything low the whole screen turns black. So i want to know the lowest settings without it going black.

It's really laggy for dayZ, almsot to the point where i have to make put all the settings down (which makes everything blurry) to make the game playable. Im pretty sure it's my Windows Vista slowing it down, so should I upgrade to Windows 7 or keep Vista?

I don't want something over the top. I just want smooth gameplay with little lag and good graphics. If alienware does that by default, I'm probably going to just buy the default.

Building? Not that good with building. I have money to buy alienware Aurora. Should I just buy that?

Well what can I buy that will cut the lag? Other than the new graphics cards. (Will the 8gb RAM help?)

it said to get NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT / ATI Radeon HD 4850, so I'll probably will get that, but will it still lag horribly? (I'm horrible with computers)

I run on windows vista, which said to be bad for armA 2. But when I put up dayZ the lag was so bad I could barely move! Everything the movement is delayed and looking, Does anyone know how to reduce lag?

To actually play dayZ I have to turn everything to low. Including resolution and visibility. But when they're both low, everything turns black and i cant even see! Is this a glitch or what actually happens? also, is there any way to reduce lag? :huh:

Anyone know a good way to reduce lag? Its so laggy I cant even walk and when i turn everything to low the terrain and everything (except the sky) turns black and grey so i cant even see. I have windows vista if this helps.
