bro u can get a sniper rifle at any of the high yield barns. u can get a NVG at belota and same thing goes for GPS. deer stands to. ive found about 3 NVGs in random deer stands around kamenka and belota....

getting the "best" equipment is overkill seing as most weapons one hit kill regardless...

no its not seeing as how u can get military loot from belota and other southern parts of the map as well. infact u can just stop as short as starry if all u want is military loot. if u want to go to NWAF thats cool, but ur just going to die. like i said before, the airfields are probally the most dangerous places on the map. so why go there and say "stay out of cherno/elektro"? that makes no sense to me. its not at all safe to travel that far of a distance just to get shot on site. not only that, but what else is there aside from the airfields?

what? its the opposite for me. i seem to get aggroed less by zombies and crouching seems to be better than it was. for the first time ever i was able to go through cherno without aggroing the entire damn town. i aggroed 2 or 3, but im also able to lose them MUCH easier then before so they dont stay aggroed long.

simple solution. get rid of ALL snipers, and ghullie suits. this is a fucking SURVIVAL HORROR mod, not a WW3 mod FFS. having snipers defeats the entire purpose of the game. ppl will hide in the forest for all eternity watching one spot, never neading to go out to actually SURVIVE. ud mind as well go in ur room untill a damn fly lands on ur wall and hit it with a shoe, because thats exactly what all snipers are doing. get rid of that aspect of the game.

actually, the trick to playing dayz with good gear is to not get good gear. m1911 and a enfield is all u really need along with normal binoculars. for military stuff, i guess u can go get a AK from somewhere. u dont need all of that top of the line stuff.

i was in the churno church when a group of guys killed me (after i was saving there ass from zombies i might add). after i died in the church i hit the respawn button and i respawned inside of the church in novy... is this a bug or is it a new spawn point for some patch?

of course that is what they are doing. they spawn crates in a random nearby forest and then tell everyone its a "ATV/vehicle" that they are getting the loot from so they can seem legit. cookie monster and friendlywhiteguy are 2 hackers that do this. when they get bored they go to the most popular server with a few other guys and camp the city with SVDs and rangefinders sniping anyone and everyone that goes in and out of the city. they claim that they have an ATV in the woods that they go to when they die to get re-geared, but its not just 1 server they do this in, its many servers and its frequent. i refuse to beleive that someone has that much ultra rare gear that they can just risk and throw away in a popular town like cherno and elektro.

this game would be a true survival horror game if things started popping out at u in the forests at night. infact, id go on a limb and say it would the the most freighting game ever created. if things like ghosts/zombie dogs/zombie animals start popping up at night in the forest it would be a very interesting game indeed. i say go for it, there is no other horror game with a realism simulator like arma 2/day z out there. youd go down in gaming history, and i feel very strongly about that.

its simple, there are alot of script hacks and a few private hacks for day z going around that can be pulled offf while bypassing battle eye. a simple google search is all u need, just like with hacks for any other game.

yup, wind doesnt effect bullets in dayz. ive been able to snipe perfectly without ever having to adjust for wind, only for distance. cant speak for other mods tho.
