Honestly starting without a backpack wouldn't be a big deal. I find an alice pack or czech pack before my coyote is even full. And yeah, the basic gear is easy to get. But hey, the fun is in the military loot.

You are trying to discourage murder AND add NPCs. Rocket explicitly said there will be NO NPCs and NO penalties to bandits/murderers. Just because you say in your topic that it isn't a bandit punishment doesn't automatically make your bandit punishment okay.....

I'm for it but it would have to take awhile for them to actually break. However it would need to be cleaned somewhat often. Add a "cleaning kit" with infinite uses for this?

Also, the difference between bandits and survivors IMO Bandit-kills people for their loot, kills for fun, or kills because he chooses to play alone and does not want to risk getting betrayed Survivor-someone who is willing to take the chance that the other person is friendly and team up with his, which provides a far greater advantage to you than taking his loot. Or someone who tries to avoid player contact through stealth like me! ;)

Dude, half of the suspense of the game is wondering whether the guy across the street will shoot you. If you see they have a bandit skin, then it takes all the mystery out of it. Also, some people got fucked by the bandit skin since they were shot at, the person shooting them missed, and they shot back and didn't. So they got a murder even though it was self-defense. The bandit skin was removed, and rocket said it was the wrong direction since it forced people to play a certain way or become a target. Plays the intelligence card, can't spell monkeys. Before you criticize anyone about intelligence, go through your post and look for typos and mistakes. That way you look less like an angry twelve-year-old.

lol why do people get so bent out of shape over the .50 cal rifles? They are basically glorified DMRs and CZs. They both kill in one shot, and there are a helluva lot more DMRs and CZs than M107s and AS50s. I wouldn't mind, since I like pistols and am good with them, but I would still prefer to use my M16 ;)

The sims-zombie apocalypse edition... Actually, when I was running with my group, for some reason i was way slower than everyone else. So i joked i had "Diabeetus" and they would proceed to run in circles around me or just run 400m ahead....MAYBE IT'S ALREADY IMPLEMENTED!?!?!? TOO MUCH BEENS!!!!

I still wonder why the czech vest pouch is still in the game. It's completely useless to everyone that isn't a sniper. A solution to this would be to make it not take up the bag slot, but the secondary weapon slot. That way instead of the feeling of "czech pouch, whatever..." it actually makes it a cool thing to find if you're backpacking medical goodies for a group.

You obviously don't live in the USA.... Hand a rich brit kid a gun, that will be true. Any american, no. Pretty much everyone who owns a gun knows how to fix the one they own. It's like fixing the brake pads on your car or giving it an oil change.

Guns are a helluva lot simpler than bows. Any idiot can pick up a gun and fire at someone and be somewhat effective, but bows take awhile to get good at. Also... Make your own bow? Or go to dick's and grab 30 high-quality arrows with steel broadheads and a much better bow....?
