Bulf is correct. The only bannable offense is hacking itself, racism, and abusive behavior (IE constant harassment etc). Infact even if you know its a hacked weapon as long as you didnt spawn it, you are allowed to use it. (Although from what I have read it marks your account for what I suspect is further investigation to see how often you actually are picking up scripted weapons (IE every life? working with an actual hacker). The honest and fair thing though is to do what he said and destroy it via hiding zombie or player bodies w it on it

Here in lies the problem currently. The system does not show all the little things that a player has done just a quick summary of what their current humanity is. IF the system was more complicated and could guarantee that someone not going to shoot im sure half of us would not. But as it stands all it shows is that someone is either currently positive or negative (IE hasnt shot anyone lately..... or does so much squad healing that his murders are 'hidden')..... so... as of right now.. all people are KOS

The bandit skin / humanity system now persists through death. So EVERY time you spawn you will automatically have a bandit skin on same thing happened to me. Im new. (less than 3 weeks) and have - 100k humanity

The ONLY way i would consider not shooting a player w a 'skin' is if that skin indicated ALOT of helping people and guaranteed that they have not killed ANYONE. Not even a bandit... IE even w 10k humanity... if you killed a bandit you would lose your skin. If not. Then all are KOS IMHO bandits.... are just players who have played longer and are sick of getting shot by other players... so we KOS to defend ourselves. (except players who play in groups non stop who can comfortably not worry about every player)

No one here will help you. It is stickied at the top of this forum. IF you were globally banned, it was by BattlEye. BattleEye does not make mistakes (it does not ban for things it THINKS are hacks but can knows 100%). Go to battleye and tell them how they screwed up

I would have to agree that this would fall into the 'ghosting' category but at the same time Ive heard about US 1040 and their banning and suspected map hacking. These people are not normal players and therefore do not deserve fair rules. Good job

Worst death for me wasnt really a death for me but my team. We were farming NW Airfield and were looking for vehicle parts. I went into the large industrial building near the north barracks. I stopped to check the DayZ DB map and I hear a commotion from my teammates. As I come back in I can gather the entire team was killed by a hacker. Panicking I run upstairs (the one w stairs and a U shaped upstairs w 1 room) and peek out of a boarded up window w an opening at head height. BINGO I see the hacker w Z's all around him. I bring up my L85A2 AWS and try and bear down on him...... for some reason my gun is bouncing rapidly up and down as if I needed pain killers... as I am proccessing this the hacker starts at dead run at me from 200m+ firing 4-5 rounds out of his 1911. 2 strike me dealing 5k dmg. I alt + f4. The entire team lost their gear (NVGs l85s m107s etc) part that pisses me off is I could have has him if all he had was radar and auto aim :S

Rocket did come out and say that you cannot ban for anything other than racism and disrespectful verbal abuse.

Ill bet It was either Rocket bluffing to slow hacking down (as hackers work in groups now bc of the 'not bannable rule') OR it was true and was causing too much trouble so they nixxed it. TLDR Rocket has said that picking up weapons that have been spawned in is not a banable offense. If you were banned demand it be undone in admin abuse section? or they can be black listed (you could have 4 months of gear on their...)

Hi I have a topic open on, as far as i am concerned, admin abuse. (Servers setting ping limit SO low it creates a lil private server **60 MS**) All I want is an Admin or Rocket to come out and say "You cannot set ping limit lower than 'xxx' milliseconds" So the servers who are abusing this cannot use easily farmed equipment against us SO Question is. How do I bring my post to the admins attention?? Its been 3 days and no response (Its ok if all i have to do is wait, I know they are busy but I heard a guy say something about opening a ticket to bring a mods attn to his before)

^ This is what im trying to get set up... there is no need to be booted for 70 ping or 100 ping.... you would not see people teleport @ 150MS (1/6th of a second).... NOR would it affect your gameplay. The hopping/lagging in this game is hardware related.................. EVERYONE would.... but here's the thing... IF you set ping limit to say .... 20ms.... and had... 18ms.... then you could basically farm the NW airfield at will w a 5 man group without fear... 5 people.. farming.. dumping... basically cheating gear in........ (because once you combine ping limit with say.... actual time zones and player patterns.... and where players are on the map.... and how difficult it would be to get 5 team mates of yours into to kill them at NW Airfield... they are reducing the odds of player encounters so low it may as well be locked) *this is obviously exaggerated to show affect pls dont post retarded responses to the likes of: 20MS!!! who does that!?** THIS IS FINE until they take that gear and go clan hunting or pvping on other peoples servers who do not have the same means of farming gear so easily (directly affecting the gameplay of the general players... because they will take bigger risks w gear that they do not value as much as us.....) Im looking for a standard to be created for all servers to abide by because as of right now.... not alot of people can see this is problem... as you can clearly see from the well thought out and researched answers im getting here.... ....... It has been said that picking up hacked gear is not ban-able offense. HOWEVER server admins can use their hosting companies interface to block IP address's from joining (IE server ban you). AND they can see what has been picked up by who basically (very hard to read but it is do able and they generally use a search function to look for it in logs). IF a server admin bans you for it. He is in the wrong. Report it on forums and hell either have to un-ban you or have his server removed from listings. TLDR; Use it. No harm will come to you for it. If you dont another player will...

Only problem I see with this is everyone will take either green brown or black clothes.............. (If you could select for profile and not have to find in game) and a black guy....... (not being racist... but there is an advantage at night)

What I would really like to see is dialysis machines in the hospitals. All hospitals have on-sight generators (unless your in Buttf**k, Kentucky) AND battery power. So tbh a working dialysis machine running off reserve power isnt too far of a fetch. This should take a minute or two but would allow a lone wolf player (me) the ability to use blood bags on themselves
