I've lost all hope in Eldiritch and KuyA and mainly Shots. All of the bullshit you've posted here just shows how mentally far gone you all are. Bad luck or server hoppers? Don't get me wrong, I find useful things in the two barracks, just never anything extraordinary like NVGs or an SVD. My best drop from the barracks so far is an M240.

Happened to my M107 too. If you pickup a gun and then pick your M107 back up, it will have the same ammo as the last gun's magazine. Find a SAW and pick it up, then pick your M107 back up. GG.

My solution to this is to try your best to hit their vitals, like if you're sniping, headshot them so they die before they realize they're being shot at.

Where is the server?

It isn't limited to US servers.I was teleported into an arena with every other player on the server on a German server.

So after getting killed by a sniper and losing all of my past gear... (DMR, cayote backpack, M9 etc...) I grabbed an AKM and some essentials and headed for Stary... And on the way I found a crash site. I lost hope when I found an FAL on the left side, but the right side had a spankin' new M107. I'm pretty ecstatic, it's so new it has the tags on it still. What shall I do with this baby?

What's the best sniping position outside of Stary?

Had the same experience with the NW Airfield fire station. I was prone on the top floor and next thing I know it teleports me outside of the tower where I fell to my immediate death. Lost all of my juicy gear. I got crushed in a door once while trying to leave a small wooden cottage. Then there was the time I put on some camo clothes and it deleted all my items. I've been teleported out of multiple buildings, sometimes dying because of it. I logged in today and was teleported from a field near Stary back to the coast. At least I still had all my gear though :P I should also include all of the times zombies have hit me through walls and walked through walls. I've deleted much of my gear in the past by accidentally putting it in my bag when I don't have enough room. I've also randomly broken my legs from walking over some objects. ... DayZ is easily one of the most fun, immersive games I have ever played in my life. I love this game and I will continue to play, alpha or not. However, this game is extremely glitchy and I fear for my life all the time. You never know when the game will decide to fuck you over, it happens to the best of is. Maybe one day I will play without being constantly paranoid.

It's pretty fucking absurd. I can put up with Zombies constantly making me bleed, hitting me through walls, and being the most annoying shit ever in this world of clunky gameplay... But when a zombie can suddenly and randomly break my bones after getting somewhere in this game while I'm at full HP, it's fucking infuriating. Either make morphine more common or get rid of this bullshit. Broken bones should only occur from falling or gunshots. I'm not exactly game to crawl for hours in search of morphine.

Short one, I went to the Balota airfield and found an M9 with a few mags. I ran outside and some guy with a fire axe started chasing me around trying to kill me. I shot him a few times and started running back in fear of getting hit with the axe, he was chasing me while gushing blood. I took quick looks back at him and the guy just kept chasing me while leaking gallons. He eventually died and I helped myself to his beans.

I got this game a few days ago and before hand I watched an entire LP based on the game. I have been through about 6 lives now, most of which lasted at least an hour, and I can't seem to find any kind of weapon. I'm quickly losing interest in the game due to the frustration this causes. Before anyone tells me to be stealthy - I'm already doing this. There's nothing worse than spending 10 hours inching your way past dozens of buildings you can't even enter only to find one that has chemlights and an empty can of soda. I've been to so many different spawns, and yet I can never find a weapon. If I get detected by a zombie, I'm done for. Do I just have bad luck? I'm on my wits end with this game. All I ask for is some low tier weapon that is supposedly "common". I wish there was a starting weapon.

I'm doing way better than before. I have a makarov and 8 magazines.
