weapon was hacked. those guys sniping could not have been worse. obv hackers. next time tell us at what time the action happenes. running around for 15 min while hunting snipers may be tense and fun ingame, but it sure is boring to watch.

split the chars on the hive into 2 groups. one group for everyone who preferes to play in easymode with wallhack (3rd person) and similar stuff. one for those that wantt o play without it. make it impossible for chars from group one play with those from group 2. or just remofve that freaking 3rd person along with the imba thermal weapons.

hey guys, im getting a new pc and im wondering if i can copy the Arma2 CO (steam version) from my old pc to my new one via lan? will i have to transfer some registry keys? if so which? do i have to do anything so steam recognizes the game? my internet is just too slow atm for me to download the game. thanks

ok zed baby, heres the deal: first part of ur post is utter nonsense/flaming/you telling me youd shoot me. makes u look pathetic tbh now lets get back to topic. then you say that the L85s shooting power/range is crap compared to other weapons, just before you qualify that statement by saying its a good scouting tool. you should have said its the best. in a 5v5 it does the fact that the L85 gets outperformed in range and power by other weapons. if one of your team has it it is as if there where giant big arrows pointing at every enemy because the scout with the L85 can see everyone and give their position to the snipers. next in ur silly argumentation you go back to flaming me telling me i was scared. wtf is wrong with you. this discussion is about the L85. this weapon removes almost EVERY ascpect of fear from the game because if your team has a L85 they see every enemy around. i am the one wanting it to get removed you want to keep it. so how am I scared? i had one till it disappeared from my hands when logging in. i will have one again if they do not remove it. binocs are enough to scout snipers. thermals on the other hand are easymode and do not fit the concept of DayZ. if people like you want easymode, fine, make special servers for you and others and remove the L85 from all others.

hey, how do ppl play music or other sounds through the ingame voice chat? is there a way to do this without also sending ALL sound that is played on my computer (i dont want teamspeak and the gamesounds itself to also be transmitted)? thanks

if this mod gets turned into a real standalone game the only option are servers that are run by the company releasing this game. just imagine d3 or any similar game with player run servers and all the abuse that is possible. if you kill an admin he can restart the server. since you were not able to log out in time before the restart the kill will not get saved. and so on and so on. player run servers wont work for games like dayz.

tbh i dont want to get personal but OP, seriously? try to read what you posted here. try to ask yourself why you posted in the beginning and how it turned into all that shit. what was and is the purpose of all that? please seek professional help.

tbh, this is highly concerning. in this case admins have basically free reign over their servers, can do whatever they want including gaining acces to weapons through illegitimate ways and joining OTHER servers with that gear and going rampant there.

did u destryoy the vehicles and all the equipment or does ur friend now own a new car? also i find it highly concerning that an admin can kick people and take or destroy their cars just because he thinks they are hacking w/o any real evidence.

i dont get wtf op is doing here anyways. who in their right mind can combine those two: 1. feel that a game is heading incorrectable in the wrong direction (he says the mod is almost done and sucks, standalone is not going to happen according to his 'insights'. 2. feel the need to come on the mods forum and let everyone know how he feels about it. does that seem pathetic only to me? whenever i quit a game because i felt it wasnt fun any more and wasnt ever going to be again, the last thing that crossed my mind was letting strangers on a forum know how i feel about it. for christs sake, get a life and a hobby dude. you are even worse then any fanboy.

OPs poor criticism comes down to people camping. a high enough logouttimer will fix this as a camper will have to leave his spot to securely logout and will therefor have to give up is camping position. also he tried to make some points going in the direction that there was not enough encouragement to get high end gear, that the game had no direction that players are to make rules for themselves and so on.. if he feels this way i guess thats his own problem but not a reason to come on the forums and rant about it. i see all those points mentioned as hughe PRO and not a con. to me dayz is a hardcore pvp game much like ultima online was back in the glorious days. you did not need high end gear at those days. there was no 'end game' in the sense of todays games. i love how OP first bashed the dayz community and then felt the need to announce his own so called 'project' to the very same community. obv troll is obv. omg. u must be schizophrenic. you did EXACTLY the same (namecalling and so on) just a sentence before u criticised him for that). wtf dude get your shit together.
