I dont think so, i still could hit fine crouching and pronning with the bipods deployed, maybe it not implemented yet but would make sense.

Yes it does, there is a thread specific for this on reddit, where, the team is VAC banning hoppers and loggers, sorry about the insults but this fella here got on my nerves with his litlle games, im just gonna go to reddit and ignore this logging...**** ** ****.....person.

You can't get banned because of sweet fx or enb, there is another thread on this forum (to lazy to get link sry), where ppl posted a buch of link to the steam forums that says its not bannable.

I does not cause accuracy issues, just messes up the mildots, if you dont know how to use them you shouldnt bother and just play with the FOV that suits you, but if you realy want to just hit the "default" button on the video options tab. Also i finally got a scope for the mosin, tried out some extreme high range shots from 800m to 1.300m (estimated using the in game map measures in case your wondering), around 800m it was still pinpoint accurate if i take a 30 seconds break between shots, over 1000m i had to get higher ground and take some more time with the shots and the breathing mechanics. After 1.100m i could barely see my targets and had to aim way to high to be efficient in combat at all but still managed to hit 2/5 :beans: Btw i use low mouse sensitivity, and when im in iron sights i hold alt to aim so my dude only moves the gun and not the whole body, also makes the aiming smoother.

I am not accusing the first person i see, i am accusing you, the story you described is identical to what happened to me and my friend except you took out the part when i caught you on top of his corpse and shot you,...and you disapeared...was that a mistake?,...its the same fucking story...my friend pulls the pistol and fires 3 shots, you 1 hit KO him and start punching him on the ground and then i show up,......but i guess that as soon as you heard the shots u alt F4'd. I saw the whole thing go down from up the hill i had a clean shot on some guy thru the windows but i didnt know if it was you or my firend, then we have a HUGE fuck up on communication, my friend waltz in the room checking the loot and you rush him after a bit, i loose sight of you (beacuse u knocked him out in the corner where there are no windows, then i sprint all the way up there and shoot you from the 2nd floor corridor. Like i said before i dont have physical evidence, even if it is saved in the server logs (wichever the fuck was that server i forgot), and i am not asking anyone to take any action against you. Its just that i have this problem with unfinished stories you see..... ps: i also love the new bare-handed fighing system.

Me and my friend decided to go full retard and test everything we could on eachother; here are the intresting results we've found: Disapearing corpses: I have been noticing some diferences between combat loggers and normal disapering corpses and decided to test them with my friend, first we found out when a player alt-F4 out of the game, the body start the "drop on belly" animation and as soon as it hits the ground it disapears. But i noticed some bodies stay on the ground for around 30 seconds and then disaper i figured they where not combat loggers and turns out i was right, it seems as soon as the player either spawns at the beach or exits the game(either alt-f4 or exit menu) the body disapears , so i tested this and this was the check list: Dead screen - Body still there Pause menu - Body still there Clicking respawn - Body still there Waiting screen ("testing scene 1 2 3") - Body still there Can see the character in the beach - Body vanishes So, i think it would be nice to let the corpse stay a litle bit more beacause its just impossible to loot the bodies the way it is right now, also please put a timer or combat mode on/off to stop the loggers, its realy annoying to waste bullets and get your gear damaged to get nothing out of it (except the pleasure of killing a logger). Hitboxes (Melee) So we had a situation where my friend put three .45 bullets to a guys chest and he runs up to him and punches him out of his contiousness in 1 hit, so we decided to check the hitboxes and blunt melee overall. First my friend tryed punching me, i had the balistic helmet pristine and some random military clothes pristine including the vest and the military backpack (forgot the name sry): Hit List: Top of the helmet - fine Side of the shoulders - fine Torso - fine Face - fine Back - K.O. Then i took a round at my friend, he was using default civilian clothes and a mountain hiking backpack. Hit List: Top of the helmet - fine Side of the shoulders - fine Torso - fine Face - fine Back - fine Balls - fine Legs - fine Back of the head - fine Spine - fine Ears - fine Hands - fine Sooooo..... after those inconclusive results we went for an old mans boxing round both with civilian default clothes. I landed a lot more headshots in the first round and he got KOed, second round the same, then in the third round he KOed me using only body shots and in the fourth he KOed me using headshots. Well from that data we concluded that there are only 2 hitboxes for melee; Head and everything else, it seems there is a chance of knocking someone out with body shots and it's increased if you hit the head, but hitting a particular sensitive area like the balls or the spine or the back of the head have no effects on the chance. Sniper Force Feed: After that good old boxing we went for a fifth round and my friend KOed me and started force feeding me Disinfectant, i woke up and ran around 30 meters away and saw him there stuck in the animation so i came back for a nice puch in the face, when i did so, i got a mesage that he succesfully force fed me... then i got sick ,vomited etc..etc..etc...died... So i must presume that the game does a check 2 times, 1 when u start the feeding and 1 when u end it, if both says "target within range" it counts as a succes and ignores the fact that i ran 30m out of the way. Then we tried force feeding but never aproaching again, just plain running away,...aaaannnnd....."force feed succesfull"... Maybe put some more depth to this scrip? // New Tests // Today i tried out the bleeding chance when getting hit by a zombie vs the clothes you have. It seems the quality of the clothing dont intrest much in this case i believe it is only there to protect your items, also the only helmet that REALY and i mean REALY ...helped me on melee combat was the motorcycle helmet. 1st Round:Me vs zombie ( No clothes) - bleeding after the first hit and KO (after 5 attacks) 2nd Round:Me vs Zombie (pants) - bleeding after first hit and KO (after 7 attacks) 3rd Round:Me vs Zombie (pants/shoes) - bleeding after first hit and KO (after 6 attacks) 4th Round:Me vs Zombie (pants/shirt/shoes) - Bleeding after second hit and KO (after 12 attacks) 5th Round:Me vs Zombie (pants/shirt/shoes/gloves) - Bleeding after First hit, redid and got bleed after second hit. (no more KO's got fed up with respawning :emptycan: ) 6th Round:Me vs Zombie (pants/shirt/shoes/gloves/motorbike helmet) - Bleeding after fifth hit. 7th Round:Me vs Zombie (pants/checkered shirt/shoes/gloves/motorbike helmet) - Bleeding after seventh hit. 8th Round:Me vs Zombie (Cargo pants/raincoat/shoes/gloves/motorbike helmet) - Bleeding after fifth hit retried and got eight hit. 9th Round:Me vs Zombie (Cargo pants/raincoat/shoes/gloves/motorbike helmet/Simple backpack) - Bleeding after eight hit retried and got eleventh hit. So...based on that i assume the bleeding chance starts decrasing considerably after geting all your skin covered up with long sleeves, gloves and helmet. Still need to test the military gear and PvP results using the hitbox scanning as well. Extra Tips: - Found out you can speed the "light" knockout timer by spamming WASD and moving your mouse around. - There is no animation transition between fists raised and spriting (turbo), making kiting realy easy. - You can walk up to anyone and force feed them disinfectant even if they move away from you. -

I just had the chance to test out the mosin (finaly, took me 4 days to find one), so i did everything i always do when sniping, eat, drink, rest, prone and bipod, got 100% accuracy with 10 targets from 50m to 800m ,...i think ppl are forgeting to hold the right mouse button when in iron sights to hold breath and up the accuracy, because the guns are flawless so far imo.

Without bandits DayZ would be DIFFRENT. I keep reading theese threads about ppl trying to dictate how the game shoul or should not be,....ITS A OPEN ENDED GAME! Do whatever you feel like doing,...if you want to bandit ,go right ahead,...and dont say the game is shit because ppl call u a psichopat, wich you are in the game, all bandits are, its your character , its your game personality, deal with it (not saying you are irl). If you want to go to a house call it yours and start a family go ahead, just mind the hordes they are not safe for children. If you want to stay on cherno and jerk off after headshoting a shirtless guy...feel somewhat free....i guess.... Some ppl enjoy creating, some enjoy destroing, some are helping chaps some are potential mass murders, we all have our way of releasing stress and having fun in a game and that its the best part of DayZ, seeing those cultures colide in a open world zombie apocalypse. I think most of the whining come from the lack of ingenuity from all the OP's be them bandits or carebears or whatever, just use you criativity and find a way out of the situation. -

Yeah changin your FOV will mess up the mildots in relation to your character eyes, but not the bullet spread, maybe that is the problem most ppl have been experiencing. Also i think your general wellfare has something to do with your performance on shooting, try going for a shooting session with your belly full and thirst completely quentched, as in eat 3 cans of beans and spam a water tap then rest a bit and try shooting, in my test i was 90% accurate on every shot i called, ranging from 50m to 600m. And yes i use modified fov, maybe 80 degrees on FOV i would guess. Also would be nice if someone with various medical suplies did some tests as in bloodbag yourself, then shoot, then saline yourself ,then shoot, painkillers, then shoot, so on with all the subtances that are usable right now. I am pretty sure my accuracy went to shit when i was force fed disinfectant, could not hit anythig, not even closer than 100m.

I don't know what gives but im still being able to hit targets with the m4 400m+ usin a ACOG and up to 400 just fine with the red dots,...i think its just about proning, using the bipod and not being out of breath....and zeroing.....

Well they didnt in my experience, not on mp anyway. And it does have something to do with this engine as it is a hybrid of arma 2 and arma 3 engine and characteristics from both engines can be made out in the game. -
