Matches are pretty common in medium/high residential buildings and supermarkets. Why would that be a secret, it has been written here hundreds of times. Or am i missing something? :D

There are some "trading companies" in the survivor HQ forum. Try and look there. Yeah, i too wanna train some alchemy so i can brew me a fortify bones potion :D

Yeah dayz spawns a lot more stuff than the average arma 2 scenario, and texture settings on the free version don't mean anything because it hase only the low-res ones. It is far more processor and RAM intensive than it is on the graphics. You can always try if you want, but then if it doesn't run smooth don't say you haven't been warned.

It will be probably all other than smooth. At best you'll get 15 fps i think. I run it on an Athlon X2 6000+ 3.0GHz, 6GB of ram, SSD and a HIS 4870 512MB (870MHz) and after tweaking my settings i get an acceptable 30fps.

#20 Once you find a map in-game or use one off-game, learn how to orientate yourself by landmarks: Hills, roads, lakes, basically learn how to read a map.

As others said i think the nametags ar just a big cheat straight off. I don't care about 3rdp or CH, altough i think sidechat is useful. Actually found an ingame partner on one of the few servers that still have it enabled. If there wasn't side chat we would have probably never met on the server, or just shot at each other because one of us would feel threatened by the other (altough i try to never shoot on sight and communicate first from a safe position). But please make some sort of nametags that have the range of direct chat, so you at least know the name of someone / can recognize group members.

You should not be able to place barbed wire and tank traps in or near buildings. I think that would be a good fix. But i still want to be able to place five layers of it around my tent camp somewhere in the wilderness :D
