OH, and btw, I happen to have Ventrilo, Mumble, and TS3. I would prefer a group that has a server on one of the 3, but it doesn't matter as long as you guys have some way of talking not via DayZ global chat.

Hello and thank you for bothering to read this! The title basically explains what the purpose of this topic is, so I'll just get into the details; I am a very experienced DayZ player, have been in multiple clans and was very active for a long time. I haven't played in maybe a month, just started up again, and want another group of people to shoot other people with, and by "other people", I mean anybody and everybody not in our group/clan/squad. I am a good sniper, driver, etc, but the only thing I think you'd care about is that I have limited helicopter experience. At one point I could fly one crapily but I do not think I will remember how to now lol. However, I am a fast learner. I've played most of the maps/mods that were out a month ago; Taviana, Utes, Wasteland, DayZ 1945, etc. Have not done origins or the new crap but I can easily download them and learn them. As long as it's DayZ I should be proficient. I am 17 years old and if you care, but I doubt it matters unless you are one of those "Must be 25+, have Navy Seal experience, live in Intercourse, Pennsylvania, have 2000 posts on Dayz forums, over 9000 hours of DayZ gameplay, and have ventrilo, TS3, skype, mumble, and a fax machine" clans. I also live in Texas, but I'm obviously not a hillbilly :). I want a small, close clan/squad that can kill quickly and cleanly, can have fun, but is mature. For these reasons I will decline invitations to clans full of squeaky 10 year olds. I would prefer an American clan, but I really don't care if it's a UK group or something, as long as the time zones won't be detrimental to our gameplay. 6-8 hour difference I can probably handle. 12 hour, maybe not. Anyway, if you like what you hear, (well, read :P), please leave a post! I will most likely take the quickest promising offer; I don't want to wait 3 weeks unless I have to. Thanks for reading!

Just as the title says, I'd like to join a group of (mature) people that like to shoot other people. I've played DayZ perhaps 10 months now, and I'm very versatile in my gameplay types. In other words, I do what is necessary to kill my target. Was a survivor for a bit, but by far banditry is the most fun out of the ways to play DayZ, therefore I plan to continue playing this way. Been in several clans, but none were specifically bandit clans. So, I figured I'd join one. Very good sniper/driver/shooter-of-any-weapon-really. Will not play with 12 year olds, so kiddie clans please don't try to recruit me, I want a clan that is very mature, that can have a laugh, and likes to kill on sight, so if you've got a clan/are part of a clan that fits these standards, hit me up.I will also play just about any map put forth as well. BTW, I have teamspeak3, ventrilo, mumble, and hate using DayZ voicechat, so I want a clan that uses one of those mentioned. (Also, I am 18 years old for those who actually care)

I am pretty new to DayZ but I know what you have to do, how to survive, most of the buttons, and I am an excellent shot as I've played many computer shooting games. Been going solo and I've been killed several times due to things like, for instance, this one guy said "I'm friendly.. don't shoot, zombie is after me". So I helped him kill the zombie, and the second we were safe, he shot me with a shotgun and I was dead right then and there and lost my sub-machine gun and everything.. Basically what I want it a group of good players to prolong my survivability, if I end up dieing to have a quick restock, and just to have fun with. Would prefer it if whoever wants me to join had TS/Mumble/Vent as I have all 3 and a mic, so yeah that's about it besides my DayZ name is Jack (as well as my real name :P). Anyways, just reply with necessary info if your group wants me or you even want to just start a new group with me (I'm fine either way) and want to have fun. Thanks for reading.

Honestly I don't know... not a computer guy. I'm very good player in computer games, it's just always the installation/downloads that kills me.. I am doing the Six Launcher atm, it's updating currently. Will see if it works after that

I've been trying to get DayZ for like 4 hours yesterday and another 2 today.. long story short, i'm not good with all these program files and download instructions. I just don't do this much. Anyways, I'm at the point where I did all the beta patch stuff and I can get on operation arrowhead to get onto a DayZ server. Well, once there, I cannot connect onto any DayZ servers. It says "(my name) has deleted files can't connect" etc. I ended up looking around for like 30 minutes seeing if people have had similar problems and/or have had it solved. I found a few, but none of them solved anything. Did that"Six Updater" crap but it didn't work or do anything and I couldn't find anything that would explain it better. So, I found these forums and saw it was a FAQ. I read it and it said "Add mod=DayZ (or something like that) to launch.." This seems more of a roundabout instruction as it expects the person to 1, know where that is and 2, that the person with this problem can fix it just from there. Well that person isn't me. Yes I know it's a FAQ and to somebody those instructions make sense but to me it's total bull, essentially :-/. SO, can somebody explain what I did wrong and elaborate on what I need to do to fix it ASAP because I do not want to spend another 4 hours on this..
