My server is still down hosted by gamingdeuluxe!

I have it set to not reset at all purely for the fact of people investing time into cars and the like. So other than the tech support department of my hosters restarting it when updates have been applied or me doing the odd one it should be a rare occurence. I did do one last night to update the ban list. And i beleive the hosters did one again today in order to make use of the new battleye rcon abilities. Yeah provinsky if you can get them to talk or even better admit to using cheats and supply a name and maybe some pics i will go through the logs to have a look myself to confirm and i will ban. Also a time in gmt would be a massive help!

Hey ya i pay for that server. I have been having multiple reports of hackers on the server. I mandged to catch one yesterday. But the reporter supplied me with a time, pictures of the offences. This allowed me to track back through the logs and find the person in question u.fortuantly if they didnt use chat its almost immpossible to track them pretty much. Did you catch the name?

Hello gents i pay for that server on behalf of gtaforums. This is rather worrying im the only server admin and i will always log in as oysterbarron when im on the server! The ping kick setting is set to 300 but i have had reports from some members that even with a ping of 600 they can still play fine. The server has been active for almost a month now and apart from once accidentally hitting the kick button instead of dissconnect button ive never used my admin abilitys to kick anyone for any reason as i know how much trouble it causes admins. Well i think this needs further investigation by the dayz mod team as like i said its pretty worrying that this occured on the server when i wasnt even present. UPDATE: Ok ive just gone through my communications with the multiplay tech support and it appears it was the hosting company and they have a curt on there team so i imagine it was them sorting out some of the teething problems the server had at the beggining. Sorry for the inconvienience it was out of my hands

Think some servers are experiencing problems. Also i'm pretty sure that i read if you have a passworded server then it wont communicate with the hive!

how do you make a server wide announcement?

My server has been coming up with this since 5pm gmt yesterday. Some servers work but others are suffering the same fate.

I have started a server for another forum i visit. I never give them priority over normal players. And i have never kicked a player at all for killing me i understand the rules perfectly. And im happy to obide by them i want a good enviroment on my server where everyone can enjoy. Just because i started a server for another non arma related forum does that mean i must get the raw end of the server hosting rules? I see it more like our community has donated a server to this game and judging by th OP we are not getting priority or acceptance due to the fact the server is for a group even though they dont get priority on the server.

I cant seem to find my server using six launcher it was UK104 and used to come up when you did a search for GTAForums it doesnt appear anymore wheres it gone? its showing there are 6 players on it?

Im getting to the end of my temper with this server registration process. Got linked to the area i require by dante earlier. Im registering a server thats not on the system yet. But they require an instance id just as i thought i was making progress in subbmitting a ticket.

My server is a new one hosted by multiplaygameservers i dont wish to buy a new server. That form doesnt appear to give me the option to register an external server.

Im really worried started a new server yesterday pm one of the staff and subbmited an email via support to try and bring the name on the server list inline with the rules. and they havent got back to me. I dont want ir blacklisted and waste 60 pound hosting fees.

Can someone please post a server.cfg so i can see what bits i need to change to bring my new server inline with the rules, This place is very helpfully for what to put down but it doesn't tell you where and what to edit in the server.cfg file please i'm pulling my hair out here and i'm quite attached to it!
