i think i wasn't a hero at all.. yesterday i was in balota too, run in the airfield and see a frshstart character, i had an akm found in the military hospital..no bandages as camp seemed to be raided recently ( do you know if it may contain looting or it's just always empty, exept for the deer-stands?) anyway i approach this man and i protected me and him from zeds..while in a hangar come also two other unarmed girls..kill other zombies, loot a little, they got a kobra ak..then i manage to move in the tower but near the hangar i find someone with a big backpack..i was somehow with my ak in his face so i told: don't move, i'm leaving..i laughed, and i just disappeared in the trees. while i was running in the forest, upset because i couldn't search tower and fire station, i see in the message board that the unarmed man and girls were killed, and i just continued running

i think that helping new players on the coast could be a satisfying ''quest'',with medical but also other equipment.. i see it in the optic that is possible to change the ''shoot on sight'' trend that affects the game, and doing so you'll probably get shot so you'll have to start again from zero. i believe that it's always possible to do something different from camping snipe and be a hermit in the woods. then we wait for things happening in the future.

if you were in autofire i think you just missed, maybe you were moving and he was still, which makes a lot for aiming.. he has been luckier than you.. and also maybe he was full health and you wounded?

Tips for locating your friends and general help
Bludy replied to BlindFaith's topic in New Player Discussion
hi, i'm a bit nooby too but mybe can help: barns and houses have basic gear and tools, like knife hatchet bottles and foods or map, compass and bags, and some weapons. fire stations (square building with tower and big doors) have a much more military loot. then shops and hospital for some extra food or needed gear(matchbocks or what you didn't find) and medicals..then to loose Zs best ways are getting them inside barns where they can't run and other buildings where you can sneak from back door. to reach your friends without map i think you should recognise in which town you spawned and maybe you'll need some metagaming to know if you are in the same place or how far from the other..and find rally points, outside towns, i think that following the high voltage line that runs from cherno to elktro would be fine, or something like that.. -
one of the best things i found in this mod is that you really can learn from experience, when go stealthy, when run, when you can pass near a zombie without being seen and when you WILL be spotted, after a couples of early death by zombies( slained, trapped in buildings, broken bones, falls, bled out..) i managed to have all gears or so in a single stard raid in a main town..obviously not military and not medical to sell...but when you reach a good half of what you need it's simple to get on the mountains and find the rest in barns and little settlements. and then you start to fear other players..

i think loot changes, but i don't know how often is respawn, i noticed tha can be influenced by going in other buildings but i'm not sure, i camped a hospital for much more of 20' going everywhere around and outside and inside of H risking my life but nothing happend. i've read, or seen on youtube, can't remember..that if you take away EVERYTHING respawn will be quicker. for sure that if you disconnected in any kind of building, when you reconnect it will be empty

i found out that the problem in not finding weapons is in the fact that i coudn't actually see them, because i didn't know where to watch on the floor! and was too much afraid by zombies. just enter everywhere, try to sneak but if they see you just run inside buildings where you can put some distance between you and them, i always run to fire stations, i know it's dangerous, i've seen soo many dead players there but you have nothing to loose at that point. also hills can help in loosing zombies

hi all, never used ''quick reply'' hoping i'm doing well :-) i started in elktro,it was my 5th or so attempt to survive.. very quick and good start, fire station one, fire station two, a couple of appartments moving to hospital and at the same time scouting for snipers..hospital was raided and when i was inside another survivor came in, i said : it's all been taken, don't shoot! he seemed to believe me cause he didn't shoot me, but anyway i moved out, towards hills in the north. at this point i was very proud of myself: complete gear(no morphine :-() food and drink, an enfield and revolver , so a bit louder than i wanted..and also avoided a nonsense firefight with one of my human brothers. at this point i said to myself: cherno is too dangerous, to berezino! i have to say that i was extremely lucky to find some morphine in the shack near the damn in the near north of elektro! i walked in the forest for a couple of hours or so, and i must say that little villages near elektro and bere have a lot of zombies and not so much loot, just food and drink i consumed in the trip.a little after the road signal ''berezino'' i've seen a sort of 3 long barracks compound, with a red star at the gate, between two industrial areas i think, enough near to the coast..so i went there but a lot of zombies followed me and had to take them down..maybe distracted by them i continued my cautional route to north without noticing that i was maybe a little in the middle of the valley, so i sat down, pull out bino and bam, dead before i touched the ground. i thought sniper headshot, but the insanity of that act hit me, i mean i was medium gear, not certainly a good loot, and he probably watched all my struggle against zombies..i never shot the enfield in the whole trip and took down almost 30 infected, and that stop near a bush was my biggest mistake, and last..i know this isn't a thrilling story but someone has never been in that redstar compound? and someone has any comments to what happened to me? i'd really appreciate your opinion! thanks
