i know some locations,usually on my routes when i get out of cherno or elektro, but when i don't know what to do i take their coordinates from an extra game map and try to find them, it's easy i know and it's obviously what you don't want to do, but the only way is to search the borders of forests..specially if there is a big field..

with the objectives that devs have, i think this isn't even an alpha...from a mod for a 2010 game to standalone in 2013 in the middle there are so many things

i didn't find so many weapons there..once a m16, once mp5, some glocks..but they are good to find military ammo. i usually take a look when i see one. you can peek with binoculars from the ladder side so it's not so risky..try to avoid the zombies and go away quick if you spot them from more than 200m: someone is there

i'm not exactly a noob, but it's the first time i have some of these new gadgets in my inventory and i would prefere to not explode by myself... i tryied right click in the inventory but nothing happened.. somebody has made some tests?

it will be fixed with the next patch(1.7.2.5), it's a glitch that affects all players. follow the announcements in the forum for when it comes out.

solo is fine, but it's quite better to have someone watching your back

as the distances are quite bigger than other fps games, you should have taken a longer way to flank him, for example going up the hill but over the yellow point instead of turning left and straight towards him. the initial situation was shitty, but as he waited to kill your mate utilizing him as a bait maybe he wouldn't let you go so far..you did very well, it was a tough decision, but better die with your friends than disconnect

the visibility bar cannot influence another player..if you think that sometimes you can see a movement 800m away and sometimes you don't see a player who stays still 10m from you. the human eye and the player's attention do the job both the ways. but the problem of settings still exists..i think it should be fixed too, but it will be done for sure..all the server will have the same settings locked, i can't see a different solution in the future of this game.

you will die if they corner you in the one entrace house! they can walk trough the walls too! run until you find a building with 2 or more exits, or run on a hill where they will slow down and you can zig zag away -

you should notice that if even tin cans don't spawn, the server need a restart. it can also have been already looted by other players. don't stick in big cities, if there are nothing, just go up north and search for barns. then 5 lives it's nothing compared to when you will scout NWA with your group..keep playing, keep surviving! -
