i like a lot all the civilian rifles, the 2barrell with pellets, the winchester (the best for a hero), but the enfield always makes me feel a lot safe even in towns, even when i hear better weapons firing, or if i fear to meet a group of hostiles

does exists a way to not having conflict between 2 pcs using the same key at the same time?

coming right now with a new notch on my 1911...my favorite kind of kill: emptying my mag in the hatchet-fucker's face..with all the sofisticate combat you can do in dayz,his face when he understands he's dead is still priceless..second place: lee enfield on running target but maybe some of you guy preferes the mildots and the bushes, or explosives..tell me! p.s. i've never read a topic about this so i post..only favorite weapons so far.. if not, free to bury me in the graveyard..:-)

you went all to the chopper..greed kills! but i have to say that they wanted their gps/nvgs back sooo badly! it appeared like a squad pick up instead of a parking the chopper and log out..

i've seen this at night, caught the disease standing still, not for a long time i have to say..and still with the 2.5

it is because dayz has been built on arma 2 engine which is both enabled for multiplayer action and scripting commands to edit missions/adding stuff to your game.it's used like a simulator too. servers which want to avoid that those modification come ingame, because they host competitive multiplayer (like dayz is), use battleye, which gives to every account a code (guid) and scans the the server logs, searching for code which you don't want in your game, put in by players, and ban them. this open client system makes possible that you can add the code which represents an as50 (hack hardly detected because the weapon is ingame) and shoot noobs in the face.

i like this idea, but you should make different servers because i think that this wouldn't stop people from slowly coming to cherno with their military weapons. and sniper hill would be crowded with lee enfield guys or czz guys. and when you will manage to kill one you won't have their nvgs or gps because they are survivor bums? no thanks and when you'll meet the hazmat guys in the north? what would stop them from blowing you away?

mm, are you running the 1.whatever.2.6 version? because 2.5 was a pain for vehicles and tents. then if you save it correctly and put out/in something weekly, she should survive fine and i don't know how she could be gone away. i'm sorry for your loss! there isn't anything better than running naked from the north to the nwa, greedy light in your eyes, be ready to run a lot of kms more than normal..

wood mafia, for sure. once i tryied to sell cooked meat, it seemed a good idea, since i like hunting and it was an occasion to meet people..but shouting ''fresh meat'' in direct can be misunderstood

me too, but you know, you end in big troubles sometimes in the big cities and after surviving rough situation i usually don't want to die to the next makarov guy..

the classess would limit pvp but only partially, because ok, if you are wounded you won't shoot a medic but ask for help, and if you see a mechanic and you aren't searching for a car, what's changed?

i suggest you too to go in arma2 and do some firefight in those missions, which are really useful, specially regarding combat maneuvers. when i play solo i use always the same tactic: when i get shot i run away spraying a bit of fire, zig zaging and going straight for a little. then i search for a bottleneck in urban or a ridge in mountain, i stop and watch my flanks, waiting for them coming, and this doesn't always happen but at least you survive and don't get stuck. another good tactic is to run away and then take a detour and make a sort of loop, for example run around the top of a hill and try to watch the path you followed and see if they follow you, this can put you in the shit against groups. finally when you shoot first, if you miss, shoot another couple of bullets and then change position, but be able to watch your previous one, this made my day several times. good luck buddy, i know it's hard and i usually die when i get caught in an ambush

i don't know what you can do, but there was a thread about invisible characters, try to search it..you are not spotted by zombies, players can see you, you can kill eachother, but when you die and log back you are in your last log in location with all you stuff right?

i'd search some local product..like the most famous brand of beanz in russian regions or something they eat canned..and do the same for the other maps if they come..

balota and stary are the only places where i met the other player in the whole server...the rest is all been said here above..i had experiences similar to these

not working with the ghillie, i say that cause i run at the same speed of a non-hero buddy. and makarov, g17,m9,and mp5 i think aren't weapons someone will fire to a man's body

it's already been suggested..to me, the best solution is the 30'' timer and you can't move or take damage in that time.

try to play with someone, you will learn the fastest possible, then play without caring about your life until you get used to the game, where loot is, which buildings are good which not, a bit of tactics and firefights, weapons use..then you can enjoy the game for real! godd luck and welcome buddy
