Does Battleye work in game? Like sending out messages and stuff. You should get a message saying your Battleye is up to date when connecting.

No. I don't know why I have one. I usually just delete it when no one is online since it requires a restart. It only creates it sometimes, and other times it's using the regular cfg.

Vilayer must have made an mistake I guess :P

What message are you getting? Also check for a file named beserver_SOMETHING_active.cfg and delete it.

You could just install a lower arma 2 beta from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php If you're using steam to launch the game. Don't forget to move your arma2oa.exe file.

Someone stole your CD-Key and used it for cheating. I would advice you to scan your computer for malware. You won't however get unbanned. The only chance you have to play again is to buy another key. Just make sure your computer is clean before you do that.

So I tried using BERcon.exe, but it tells me every time that I've entered an invalid password. I've tried logging in while in the server and that works without problem. But not with any rcon tool. Is this a problem with the latest Battleye?

No, it didn't. I found a way to delete it though and everything works as it should now. :)

Ok, I found the problem. I have a file called: BEServer_active_3a46.cfg Problem is I can't change it. And the password inside that file works.

well, I have it set to the same as the ingame one in that file. Still doesn't work. It has worked before though. Stopped working after a Arma 2 update applied using the control panel on Vilayer.

That's not bannable. You are ALLOWED to have hacked items on you. Banning someone for using hacked items can get your server blacklisted. Or am I missing something in your post?

I can agree on that they are being slow at it. But from my own personal experience I prefer Vilayer cause of their server performance. From all the servers I've tried here in Europe, they are the best.

Just to make it clear, did you put all the files in: "arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons" ? Also, don't push "Update" or "Verify" in Six, just double-click a server and it should be launching without downgrading.

How do you know your server is located in france? The IP will display it as france cause that's where it's registered. They can still use that IP on their servers that are located in the UK, but being displayed as a france ip. That's because they are releasing the patches through their ACP-Layer where they can guarantee a safe way to update the server.

How long does it usually take for Vilayer to release the update in the ACP?
