Fixed, I just linked to the directory because the file was scripts(1).log so the () was causing problems.

Just happened on US 470, tried to spawn everyone an ATV. It kicked everyone in the server.

So anyone know wtf is up with this? Everyone in the server including myself the admin was kicked for "Battleye Script #117" Took place around 3:50AM CDT (UTC-5) US 470

So looking through the logs it is showing people trying to spawn vehicles/guns but for everyone... For me and the rest of my guys that were on that I know don't use scripts. Is there a way someone can force everyone in the server to try and create items with a script? lol whoever it was tried to spawn ATVs on every single person in the server.

Is there a good gui based alternative to BERcon? I am trying the Arma 2 RCon Gui http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9647 but it freezes up every time a player connects and lags a lot and crashes a lot.

Report it please, that kind of behavior is unacceptable and will result in their server being blacklisted if they don't rectify the situation.

I can do it with the Global Channel in-game but how do you do it with the RCon? The say command in RCon doesn't work for me in DayZ.

Do you do automated warning for server restarts? If so how? I would really love to do that. Right now I just give warning myself when I am on but I am not always on to do it.

I haven't had a chance to check up on anything because I am busy with my summer classes at the moment, plus I don't have his name to like make it easy to check. But from looking at the time he posted, I am thinking you died and got DCed by the auto-restart at 2AM CDT and thought you were banned?

It's not though, myself and my friends have found that if you don't disconnect before a restart sometimes your character can be pushed back to where you were/what you had anywhere from 10 minutes ago to 2 hours. We have tested it a few times, it seems if you disconnect it saves the data but it doesn't always save it will you are on playing. But yeah I try to give warning if I am on when an auto-restart is coming up, but generally it is up to the user to look at the MOTD and convert the time to their timezone and just remember. From what I hear they are going to remove the Global Chat that admins can use anyways so we won't have any way at all the communicate with the whole server.

Yeah my script.log was 1.5 gigs, I tried opening it with Notepad, Wordpad, Word, Notepad++, and finally Chrome and Firefox. Firefox finally opened it but froze and eventually crashed because of how large the file was.

Seems like a few of the RDT guys are hackers, we had a guy named [RDT]Kelse before hacking in ours like a week ago but didn't get a chance to report him on here because that was before about renaming the scripts.log so they didn't get too big to open.

Umm i remove them all the time, you point at the god damn wooden post holding up the wire, it is not hard at all to figure out. But I generally try not to be a dick with it, we took the 30 or so barbed wire and 10 tank traps we had and just put a perimeter around where we always fill up on gas and just left an opening directly in front and behind where we drive in so it is harder for people to sneak up on us while we are filling up on gas. It is still totally accessible you just are funneled into the two entrances.

It could be that the server is just down, it has the new naming convention already, and searching for "Ersan" with DayZ Commander/Six Launcher/In-Game doesn't return anything. Just try searching for it later? Or if it has been days, maybe the person paying to host it decided to cancel and it is gone. Edit: Actually looking at that site you linked I can see it was up today. Multiple times but for short periods of time... so idk.

It is dependent on what the server host decides. From my experience, most restart every 6 hours or so. On mine I do a restart at Midnight, 6AM, Noon, 6PM in-game time/ 2PM, 8PM, 2AM, 8AM my local time.

The only thing the guy is guilty of is being terribad at video games. There is an option on recruit servers to show those orbs around friendlies/enemies.
