Yes, you have to reinstall or the easy way, download this http://www.mediafire.com/?1boywk1ckx9f554 and extract exe file (to your ArmaIIOA/expansion/beta folder ) and overwrite (also dont forget to copy/paste it into the main folder too. Then you can apply pre-1.61 patches

Funny, because about 400 thousand other people are playing it, strange for a game that doesn't work. Also, it's a Myth that ping matters in this game, because it really doesn't. I've been on servers with under 100ping that run like crap, and other servers with 250-300 ping that are smooth as.

There are lootable skins in the game, quite a few, and some are rare. Couldn't this just be a skin that's rather rare?

Cherno is the worst place to be, get some gear and get out of dodge! No medic or player in their right mind would risk it coming to Cherno, it's a death trap!

Wow! I went to sleep, get up 10 hours later *(long sleep lol) and already past 400k! Incredible!

Of course in the end I died, but not as you might think. Let's just say they really need to put a confirmation dialogue on the respawn button shall we? :/ Bummer as just before Merino got to me, I found a Chzeck backpack....spewing. I'm not trigger happy, have yet to murder anyone actually. I killed one guy who suddenly appeared in my face with a hatchet. He was running from Zombies but he showed as a Bandit. I've been shot by guys while I was unconscious, bleeding out, before they even try to negotiate with me. Sad but In the end you deal with it. I avoid towns like the Plague and won't attempt a big town like Cherno until I'm armed to the teeth :) I've had a lot of bad luck, losing my char once due to the respawn button AGAIN (thats twice now) when a neighbour banged on my door, another time from falling off a ladder. Then another time I found Guillie suit but of course that particular life I chose to be A WOMAN DUH! Happy trails survivors, and remember you never know who you might encounter. Off to re-equip, not sure how long our bodies stay with gear intact etc? I think it's too late to find it now I spawned so far away.

UPDATE: Irenicus lives to fight another day! MerinoMedic came along and fixed me up incredibly fast! I am astounded and really touched by this apparently small thing, one can do on a computer, but that means so much more than that! I think that goes for both parties :) Feeling good about helping others and feeling hope in humanity at the random act of kindess, as it were. Both are positive things and I guess, a different outlook on how you might play this simulation. Hopefully the good people reading this know what I'm on about, others will roll their eyes :) That's ok. Takes all sorts mate, all sorts. That's the world, dayz or real, people will be dicks, but people can also be incredibly kind. Merino you are a legend! :heart: Thank you so much! You have inspired me to want to do something similar for Australian servers and just wanted to let you know! See people, this is what being a decent human being is about. Slender Man has somehow moved into the dayz world

I've gone on steam and asked for Merino for help (actually I just sent a friend request, cant message him until he accepts), but don't know when that might be. I am playing on Aus/NZ servers but if ping allows will go on server of medics choice. My character says: "I am alone, armed with only a M1911 and have blood bags, epi-pen and morphine, need a blood transfusion ASAP, am now around 3000 blood and can't see, my vision is blurred and I can barely walk. Please respond if you can help me! I don't want to die! I'm not sure where I am, I have no map, but am close to a smallish town, so I may be able to read the sign although in Cyrillic and write it down, but I don't know if I'll last that long. PLease someone I'm begging you" (This is the furthest I've ever gotten in DayZ and would really like to avoid restarting) OK I think I know where I am, Pogorevka it would seem. I am currently hiding out in the church.

ahhh so the crashed copters cannot be repaired is that correct?

I just found a chopper too, crashed, found some medical supplies and a Nato gun (sry cant remember name but it is really loud and not a sniper rifle)....also found a couple of tents in nearby woods, so I suspect someone was planning on fixing it. I've never found a chopper before but I didn't know they were supposed to be gone??

There's definitely a good reason to ban people like him, whether on a Hive connected server or not, it's the principle. I agree though that there probably isn't anything that can be done, but I'll just be happy that he can't go on any official servers that I play on

He's a very bad hacker, by that I mean bad player but then all hackers are.. I just watched him have to run away from some zombies because he's such a crappy shot! LOL! He then proceeded to drop a satchel bomb to get away from a Z and blew himself up LMAO
