Wrong. Hives are only separate for regular and hardcore. Played on 4 different servers last night. Character was the same on every one.

The rabbits have zombie sounds (placeholder, though why is beyond me, rabbits don't make much sound to begin with) however hearing can opening etc is totally unrelated

Who the hell goes to balota except noobs though? I can confirm. A lot less loot than before. Not just the M4s, but everything. Clothing, ammo etc. Tested on a near empty server (no hopping) where clearly no one had been.

Yeah except it's not THAT realistic. It's not like I've never spent time outside in the dark. I have done a LOT of travelling, on foot in the middle of nowhere with no lights and no moon. It's very dark yes, but however, your eyes adapt after a while and you can eventually see quite decently. It isn't that bad in DayZ but it could be better. I would rather Gamma be hardlocked (ppl say nvidia cpl would override that, but there are certain games which have found a way around this) but slightly more adaptive so you see better over time up to a point.

It's pretty specific, it says it does not restore full blood. It will most likely restore full health though.

TS uses very low bandwidth. Unless you have extremely limited bandwidth you will not experience desync because of it. Thousands of people use it all the time with online games with no issues.

Easier way than this. I use a little metal bookmark I have (diablo III collector's) as I don't use it for anything else and it's just perfect for this, but a coin or rubber mat stopper will do the trick too, or even a matchstick Oh and dude. You need a new keyboard. I would hate to see your house/PC room. it must be horrid!

Yes, they are going to consider increasing the m4 spawn rate when they just decreased it, just because you asked. The m4 was so ridiculously common before. It's great they decreased the spawn rate of it. Also, you missed a tonne of new things.

It's actually not fixed. It creates an entirely new profile in a different folder to your previous cfg (mydocs/dayz instead of mydocs/dayzotherprofiles) and therefore you lose all your controls. No problem for ppl like me who are familiar with this and noticed it right away. Solution is to copy/paste contents of your previous cfg to the new one. But it's still a pretty shitty way to implement the new naming feature without telling anyone. Not to mention you are extremely limited and cannot use more than 15 characters, and can have a name with zero characters. This makes player lists in game look very strange.

Not quite. There is now a limit on the number of characters. My name before was 16 characters long, same as my steam name, now I can only use 15 characters.
