    NO Name, not recruiting.

We can use good snipers. Right now we only have 3, myself included. My comp just broke so expect to hear from lman84 soon.

    Need help with graphical problem

Yup. its been happening since 1.7.2 from what im aware. Barbed wire seems to cause it and now in this update military zombie corpses as well.
  4. I thought the main focus was on accidental respawn initiation. Couple of my group members have accidentally pressed respawn when trying to access the "Options" tab. I had no idea that respawning stresses the server so that sounds a little more like what it was for now.

    The Day Z hidden agenda

Don't need your pity but thanks anyways.

    The Day Z hidden agenda

Thats quite true. I personally would be less inclined to kill him but what about all those dark sadistic people we have roaming our earth. There already exists gangs, cults, gun clubs etc. Once all law and order are gone those gangs are going to murder and loot, much like the clans that roam Day Z. Not much difference in my opinion.

    The Day Z hidden agenda

Please, this is exactly how a lot of people would behave IRL. I know the first thing I would do is snipe the shit out of my ex and her fubar family... "Hey! Im friendly!" *BANG*
  8. Yup. Like mail parcels. Its always glorious to find one. Unless its a civilian clothing somebody left behind after they replaced it with camo/ghillie. Soooo depressing then.

    Examine vehicles

It saved my groups asses big time one night. We saw the cargo truck in Stary and LMG'ed it and discovered the engine was still hot. We decided to wait on moving in and good thing we did because a group of 6 retreated back to it. Needless to say if we couldnt have it neither could they :P

    Examine vehicles

Well with the LMG you can actually tell whether or not the vehicle has been used recently because the hood and tires will glow white but yes, an examine option would be awesome for those 99.9% of us without LMG's.

    Camo Netting

Yeah. I like rape van better...

    Safe Zone

Once the game goes stand alone they could make such a thing instance based so that nobody could camp the outskirts. You KNOW that would become rampant otherwise.

    Camo Netting

Would be incredibly handy to hide those big blue cargo trucks and that little blue rape van you can see miles away.

Start With Nothing (Or one randomised Item)

I could see this being implemented on say a veteran server. Different server difficulties could have different starting items. That being said it wouldn't be hard to start a chracter on a recruit server then hop to a veteran, Soooo, nevermind...

    Hotfix Build 1.7.2.4 Rolling Update

I dont think those indicators are quite accurate yet. Sometime when I wait until they start blinking to consume nurishment, they will go clear afterwards and just have the green outline of the icon, I wont know what stage it is until it starts blinking red again. The temperature gauge does need some tweaking though.

    Hotfix Build 1.7.2.4 Rolling Update

For me the PvP is what gets my blood pumping the most. Just typing this my hands start to shake as I recall all the firefights my group has been in. Thats why PvP will NEVER go away. Its a high to engage other players and even more of a high looting them because you never know if there is an overwatch or if another group is coming to investigate the noise.
  20. OK, so I know there has been a lot of talk about classes and the flak a lot of posters get for entertaining the idea but I honestly like the idea. What were you before the world came to an end? A hunter? A Mechanic? A Doctor or E.M.T.? Etc... I dont believe the class system should limit characters to be able to only perform a certain action because that would destroy the "Lone Wolf" dynamic but instead if you choose to spawn as a hunter it will increase payback on certian actions I.E. a few more steaks harvested from an animal. Or an E.M.T. can perform blood tranfusions on himself or raise a chracters blood with more than just a blood bag. I just think a survivor should be more than just a survivor. You had a profession before the outbreak so you should have certain skills that you can implement. Going along with that I believe that whatever profession you choose should have a unique starting loadout. Using the hunter as an example again, should start with a knife, map and water bottle. Just an example. Moving on to zombies. I like the feeling you get when you enter towns. Head on a swivel, keeping full awareness of both zeds and bandits but the feeling of safety and serentiy of the wilderness can sometimes get daunting. The addition of traveling herds would be a feature I wouldnt mind seeing. Now I dont know what kind of affect this would have on the server because aparently AI paths causes fps issues right now. How great would it be to look up from your map to see a herd traveling in you direction. There could multiple herds that travel a set path on the map. Im no programer but I assume the longer the AI path the more resources needed to support that. Lastly there I believe some sorting of in-game grouping method should be implemented. I roll with eight other survivors and things get confusing sometimes. Currently the only way to identify our team now is by which weapons we are carrying. Tensions can get high when we split the city in half during our loot runs and one group encounters another. even though we are communicating the instinct is to kill or be killed. I would just like to see some sort or indicator that makes you aware that the survivor you have in your crosshairs is indeed in or not in your group.
