Why is it in this game the AS50 is portrayed as being significantly more powerful than the Barret M107. They both use the same ammunition, they both (in real life) are 1.5 MOA snipers. They are both capable of reaching lengths of 2000m. They both are semiautomatic. The only difference is the fact that the Barret is about 1 lb. more heavier. HOWEVER in DayZ/Arma 2 The AS50 does 175k Damage while the M107 does 37k The AS50 has 1600M Range while the M107 has 1200M Range The AS50 is twice as quiet compared to the M107s noise. The AS50 is more Accurate than the M107 The AS50 can use M107 12.7x99mm Rounds while the M107 cant use AS50 12.7x99mm rounds Whats up with this o.o?

Found an ATV with no wheels no fuel tank and red hull and dark orange engine.. fixed it up and was driving it around looking for engine parts when i get the graphical error... Close client and restart to find out that the server wont let me log in... Retry it... and at the loading screen i see "One of these days Alice...." A graphical error just saved me from a hacker nuke. DONT PATCH IT, IT JUST WANTS TO HELP D:

I logged in 1006, see a man in a ghillie suit, shoot 2 mags of stanag into him. He doesnt die but shoots me and I die. After I respawn im running and get shot from behind by the same person within 3 seconds of spawning. I respawn again in Kamenka and find a downed heli with a crate with ALL THE WEAPONS IN GAME in it, including Satchel charges and M136. I am uploading a video of it soon. EDIT: This guy has a history of hacking, this isn't the first time i've seen him hacking in this server either.

DayZ is going to be ruined by hackers like combat arms was. This game was so nice, a hacker once in a while but now its like every 3rd person is hacking

Omg the hills in Elektro in this server... I log in find a body with an AKM... move up the hill, a body with an M107 with 6 mags... move up the hill, see two people... Snipe them with my new M107, get Backpack coyote and they also had L85s and lesser snipers, then I get headshoted... my friend bunkers down on the hill and shoots 2-3 people I respawn ... run to elektro hills, get shot to death... respawn in otmel. The entire mountain is full of dead bodies. All of them with crazy gear... All coyote backpacks all with NVGs all with Rangefinders all with GPS two of them had hacked items (MG36 and AS50 TWS) a shit ton of AS50 mags. We looted it and gunned it out of there lucky to be alive. (we didn't take any hacked weapons) so now that i post this.... let the war continue :)

Alright, as I posted last night, I had a run in with a teleporting invincible hacker. I quit after that... respawned and logged in today to a guy who kept respawning after I killed him and another one who couldn't die. They had a Police car and both had AS50 TWS with Silence PDWs. Why is hacking so rampant now, are these people getting global banned. Hell IP BAN THE FUCKERS>

Well there ARE ways they can change their IP but most ISPs will keep the IP static unless you call them to change it. But most of these hackers have no clue about this and once they get IP Banned they will give up... Or use a different internet.

Hacker in gamer terms is someone who uses an external program to achieve an unfair advantage. Script Kiddie is a coder who uses their projects for malicious uses and vandalism Hacker is someone who finds ways to bypass certain aspects of a computer or program to get it to do what they want (not necessarily evil) they just get the computer to do what they want. the hackers in DayZ are the first one. They buy the programs from the Script Kiddies.

I have some of it on fraps if you want. But I shot them when they dropped out of their Police car... shot one in the head twice... the other one runs off to offices. The one i shot in the head just sits there as i shoot him 5 times with a lee einfield. He then runs into pup while bleeding from 5 places still running normally. I see the one in the offices... shoot him in the head too, he drops and then instantly respawns next to his dead body. Once I assume they left... i walk into offices to the same guy I killed but with an AS50 TWS. I kill him again but he kills me as well. My friend runs up and grabbed the AS50 TWS once they left. They got into the Police Car and it isntantly got repaired. They then drove off and came back in a Heli

Still they exploit the script systems in Arma 2. The server logs the scripts sent.

They aren't a big coorperation. Rocket bans them individually. Just make it an IP ban :)

By the way, they came back to Elektro now in a Helicopter

IP Bans will do something, half of these hackers aren't even script kiddies. They are just asshole rich kids who dont care if they waste $30 on a new Key. They have no clue how a computer works or how to code. They just see $20 VIP Hacks for DayZ and buy it. And Battleeye should log it as well as the servers. I hear of people getting banned within 24 hours of hacking but they probably just buy a new code and come back.

To put this in perspective, I died by a hacker... Logged out for the day... logged in the next day to another hacker... within 10 minutes...

I swear, at least once an hour we will fight either someone who is invincible to any gunshots, someone who is teleporting, someone who spawns several vehicles or guns. In US 777 5 minutes ago, a player named Danny in a soldier uniform and a helmet teleported to my friend and shot him, im walking and look behind me and hes there too with a constant sound of someone fixing a car or removing a hedgehog. He shoots me after talking in chat then teleports to another one of my group and is kinda running around him now telling him to visit his "camp." Come on, get a better Anti-Hack detection *cough* VAC *cough*

Yeah, i have no problems losing my gear, M107 NVGs Range Finder who cares I'll find them again. But losing them to a hacker is just wrong.

Yeah but I have yet to see a hacker in a VAC game because of the fear that once you are banned from one you are banned from ALL VAC games. I did however see much hackers in games like MW3

So basically hacking this game is easy and it will be what kills the game just like it did to Combat Arms? D:

I was on 1006 and i alt tabbed out, went back in and my M107 turned into a "AS50 with THERMAL SCOPE" and my backpack was replaced with one with a M4A1 CCOSD. I was ultra confused by this and then i got teleported with a spammed server message of "DAD would like to become the new ADMIN" and then every player was teleported into an arena with a message of "Welcome to the Thunder Dome" .... I aborted.

No, it was erased from players inventories but not the spawn list so everyone lost their L85A2s but more are spawning

I logged on a different server and now im far away from where I was... my weapons changed back to normal... but i was near a heli crash which had an l85a2 o.o
