Huge Congrats to everybody who worked on this game. I think its amazing that its going to happen. For me its not about how much is it going to cost or the politics its about the experience. An experience so far im very thankful for.

First off thankyou DarkRaven123 for sharing your knowledge. I found your post informative and straight to the point. I've been looking for something to make sense of all this hacktaular controversy and found it in your words. This post should be a "must read" for people who posts in the cheat reporting section.

Awesome vid - i love the amount of teamwork everyone displayed. You have a really lethal team. I can imagine how scary it would be to be hunted by a Heli. Thanks for the post :D

4) Unsubstantiated claims LOL do you even read the cheat reports? You can make a report and its buried within a couple of hours by a mountain of others. Dont kid yourself. I think we all agree that there is a problem but i have faith that the days are numbered for those who cheat and otherwise exploit the game. Hacking / exploiting is a prepetual issue with games and always will be. I do feel Thrasher's frustration but i can also see that its something we as players have limited / no control over. As for me ima just strap myself in and roll with the punches - all you can do at the moment.

Hacker on NZ19 - god mode hacks - shot numerous times and would not die * Server this happened on - DayZ -NZ 19 * Time that it happened including your timezone - Game time aprrox 6:10pm Time zone - AEST (Australian eastern standard time) * What happened during the incident. Myself and two of my team mates had just logged on at our camp site. Our camp was in a very isolated part of the map (yes on map). A few minutes after planning our evening activities we hear over direct chat - "Are you guys friendly?" We respond to this player that we are friendly and discover him standing nearby. This puzzled us as we are very out of the way and it was almost as if he just appeared near us. A brief conversation ensues and we all note that there is something very wrong with this player. We note that he has no backpack and has an odd weapon. He talks to us for a bit and we get very suspicious about the mystery player. The decision is made to take him out. This is about where I start recording with fraps. I took the first shots and my two team mates joined in. He was on the side of a hill standing up. He stays standing and fires back while being shot at. I had him clearly in my sights and im certain my shots did not miss which is clear in the video. My two team mates emptied both their clips into him. He returned fire at me and i went down. I died and he is heard saying "Don't fuck with me boy" One of my team mates runs and the other stays still next to a tree. He watches the player run over to my corpse. My team mate tells the player that we recorded him with fraps. The player appears to panic and quickly disconnects. My corpse disappears at the same time. Can i be assured that this will be actioned upon and be looked into. My ingame name is Image 17 and there will be a log of him killing me. Im not requesting anything other than this player be tracked down and be permabanned from not only Dayz but also have his steam VAC standing affected should his ARMA 2 be through Steam. Thanks...

Yeah there are so many reports it would take a lot of man hours to look into each one. Your report just gets lost in the sea of reports, i posted mine less than 24 hours ago and it was already buried. Im not going to bother posting anymore. Hacking has reached epidemic proportions in this game imo. I guess you cant tackle the problem when its too big. Thanks Battle eye - sickest anti cheat system ever.

In its pure form this is a good idea however human nature will dictate that the aid station maybe camped by snipers and become a focal point for bandits/trolls alike. I'm picturing groups of injured and hungry survivors being picked off on their way to the station or a grenade attack on large numbers of survivors gathered in one spot. The Day Z How not to series.... First of all a big thanks to all those who work on, contribute to, and play this game. These are some basic "How not to" instructional videos. I have a bit of series planned. They are really just cheap trolling moments caught on Fraps. Please watch and enjoy the misfortune of others due to critical errors and just plain bad luck. Trust me we were very nervous lol. No it was one of those rare lucky moments among hours of crushing defeat. The kind of moment when the sun shines a little brighter as you get into your freshly stolen car . Im not sure mate, i thought it looked pretty ordinary, well the youtube vids anyway. Maybe its my combo of graphics, fraps and sony vegas settings?

Your post inspired me to try my own set up. Im running an ipod>audio cable>decent soundcard. The sounds/music are loosless. Seems to work ok. Any tips?

Hi, Im reporting a hacker that was flying around in an Apache AH1 Helicopter tonight on server NZ3. Required: * Server this happened on - DayZ -NZ 3 (1.7.1.5/94444) [Regular][uTC+7] dayzmod.com - hosted by Orcon * Time that it happened including your timezone - Approx 9:40pm AEST (Australian eastern standard time) * What happened during the incident. Myself and two other players heard and observed an Apache Helicopter flying low over the wooded hill west of Zelenogorsk. When i moused over the helicopter i identified a player named " Bocker " as being on board. I have video as well as the screenshots i have attached to this post. For your information and consideration, Thanks
