Please don't post misinformation as if it is factual. Some folks take it as gospel. As well, for some reason you are listing weapons that are not even complete yet. -
Just because something can spawn, does not mean it will spawn. Tactical shirts should be spawning on NATO wrecks. Prison Island spawns, just not that much right now.

5.56, .45 ammo spawns at chopper crashes (NATO Crashes) As do, AK101, M4, and Steyr Aug. There is NO GUARANTEE you will find these items at a specific wreck, the wreck spawns a random selection of the NATO loot items. I've found a wide selection of different eastern military loot at barracks. Tortilla bags, Assault vests, HiCaps, AK74s, Drum mags, suppressors, Kashtan scopes, and so forth.

One thing to consider, it might take a long time to move - it only takes approximately 30 minutes to destroy, however. (Which is what happened to my camp) -
Because players cannot access it, but it is counted against the server quantities. Floating loot = blocking legitimate loot from spawning somewhere else.

In short, there is only two ways for the server to get rid of a tent right now. 1) Maximum amount of tents per server met (This has never been hit, because not enough spawn to hit it) 2) Age of tent (Again - not hit yet) Both are logged in the server logs, and I've scoured several servers checking for it. Zero pitched tents have been cleaned up on any of the exp servers I checked. Sure, there could be a bug there somewhere - but so far we've found zero repros, or any actual data on said behavior. I did discover that the person who found my tent, drug all of my items out onto the ground, and packed my tent - and thus it was cleaned up. :(

Knock off the "lies" remarks. If something breaks during development, it does not equal a "lie". *facepalm* -
Perhaps they didn't have the parts required to move it? I'm not sure what "a lot of people" is - I've not had any issue with it.

Persistence works just fine, sounds like you just need to hide your camp better ;) To be clear, someone found my camp and jacked my stuff and my tent. Alas!

Each building has a maximum amount of points that items can spawn in, on 0.58.128852 those spots can be filled all by one type of item - at least on the build that is currently on experimental. Said pending experimental build should have already addressed that.

You're incorrect. They are spawning, they're just rare. You have no guarantee to find what you're looking for when you visit a base, you've just got to keep looking. I've had encounters with plenty of AKMs and SKSs, and personally found both 5.56 and .45 Ammo.

I'll admit, I have a hard time understanding your post. What stable update in 8 months? Can I imagine another company operating how? Allowing people access to development builds, as well as an opt in unstable branch? I suppose there are some others. I'm not sure where the billions of dollars are coming from, we're not Microsoft. I'd ask if you want to continue participating in the forums here, that you conduct yourself in a more respectful and adult manner.- 5431 replies

Confirmed in Status Report =P Sorry, we're just not interested in that. There are other titles that do it, and do it well - but Peter and I both agree part of the magic of looting in DayZ is being able to *see* the items - not generic containers. Been discussed - its just a bug, and one thats already been fixed.

Right now the only blocker for us toggling the system back on is per-building quantity control, and a test pass on experimental.
