I have personally seen scripts being executed by players who haven't logged in for days. During a server nuke - it said one of my RL friends Jubag (with the same GUID) had executed a fair amount of malicious scripts. Funny thing is - he stopped playing a while back. Spoofing is probably getting people wrongfully banned too.

they were accidentally removed several patches ago - I can't find the source but I think it was a 'woopsie!' comment from Rocket. It was my understanding they should be back in by now - but I haven't seen one for a long time. Then again I'm sure our server isn't spawning choppers either.

Trash server is trash. I'm surprised it isn't passworded to be honest. Well I suppose there wouldn't be any fresh spawns for him to run over in his shiny vehicles.

I ensure not to shoot anyone who are using sidearms, melee or plainly unarmed also.

When a server restarts and loads sometimes vehicles spawn in slightly in the air. This can cause cars etc to roll down hills. ATV sometimes bounce around because their physics appears to be that of black magic.

You would have hated UK8 yesterday. Started off sitting in a tree hearing lots of shooting in the school/supermarket area. I scoped it out waiting to see who it was. Suddenly two Ghillie'd bandits walk infront of me also waiting for him to pop out. I think I scored 18 murders that day, majority of them defending my vehicles stashed near Dobry ;)

Servers disappear after restarts very infrequently. They will always happen if you force the mission to start from the lobby after a restart. Restarting from RCON instead of from the actual server can also cause tents to disappear until another restart is performed.

I'm going to speak to our lead admin and see if adding less .pbos to be checked causes less issues.

It could be rubberbanding. A lot of people I get can run for hours and rubber band back to their old position without rhyme or reason.

Ah, I misread. I'm pretty sure the Defender hasn't spawned on our server - neither the Huey. I think we need to speak to the Devs to see if there's a problem.

It's not ours - however it needs to be stripped clean and saved to ensure that it stops pumping out items. also Twonk; It states in your camp-post that you have a Military Offroad. We had assumed that none had spawned on UK8 - or is this on another server?

I had this problem before; I was shot and killed - upon respawning I decided to log out for a bit. Since then every time I logged in I would pass out. It seems that sometimes shock is permanently enabled in some rare cases. I had to die to get rid of it,.

This will probably be due to the mechanic of not being able to target things a few moments when logging in. Since putting on Camo basically deletes your model and creates a new one, it will probably be that.

However - if you play with ALL AMERICAN HEROES. Surely you can read the co-ordinates wrong together and still be in the same place?

Admins have no capability to restore from saves - vehicular data is stored on the HIVE. If there was an issue with the HIVE and it had to be reverted - we'd see a lot more of these threads. Maybe the car spawns with said equiptment? For example the tractor spawns with empty whiskey bottles - maybe it was blown up?

IF the mechanic cannot be fixed due to the restrictions of the ARMA engine - how can it be made more difficult? Keep in mind nobody here, including yourself has any idea of how the HIVE works.

sounds like one of those lame servers which changes time to ensure it's always Day/Night instead of sticking to a normal day night cycle. Chances are it may have been at a previous save and taken before you had a chance to discover it.

Hi all. I believe a few patches ago that the Defender (Military offroader) was introduced back into the Hive and spawn rotation. However I am certain this hasn't respawned on our server. I am also certain the Huey has not spawned either (We had sweeped all known, and likely spawns such as the island etc) since the reintroduction. We have seen a Huey flying about for a few days - however there has been zero sign of it in the last week (plus I'm sure it wasn't legit, as the people we assumed were flying it haven't been back since we slaughtered them at one of their camps full of soldier clothing etc. Is there a way that the hive can be queried to check if we've actually got capabilities of these spawning? We also have issues where blown up vehicles respawn fully repaired on restart, I have been informed that this doesn't happen on the majority of other servers. We also have had a boat out at sea which hasn't been touched for months which hasn't despawned. I think something has really gone wrong with it.

One of our squad goes down (we assume we trampled ontop of him). I turn to look at the Balota deerstands and see a shadow of a man - Boom headshot. The guy turned out to be a friend of a friend who contacted us via Twitter. Sitting on Dobry hill and hearing a car; managed to snipe 3/4 of the occupants before they could react. the fourth alt F4'd after taking his legs out with a DMR shot. Uncounted memorable kills: Some guy taking potshots at me from a firestation over 700 metres away - I follow up with some very close shots. He panics and manages to tumble down the stairs and break his leg. I investigate - he litterally croaks as I get to him.
