You can fix them by taking all the stuff out and saving it. I'm fairly sure that's how we fixed some tents in the wild before.

I have sat and watched unrepaired vehicles before as they are wonderful bait. Despite the large map, it's very possible to have people bump into you in the middle of nowhere. Nut up or shut up.

We've gone from 9 vehicles to 2 in less than a day. Easy come - Easy go.

I'm certain I've seen some at a Crash site in the past few days in this patch. I definately found one in the previous patch in a red brick house during a respawn.

From what I've heard; morphing into an animal can be due to not having a legitimate copy. Do you respawn as human after death?

I'm fairly sure they have been disabled. However in the last few days we've had an entire clan TsB on our server - which coincides with sightings of an operational Huey. Also we saw a RED marker on the map saying UH-1H on the NW airfield.

I play with part of the Admin group. We were doing operations within some towns during this - we could hear what sounded like lasers or some shit going off. I'm pretty sure some nukes were dropped at some point that evening.

Make sure you're using the latest version of DayZ

Periphery is normal. However it should only ever be at the edges of the screen. If it's showing infront of you - it's a MAJOR advantage.

You only THINK it's not doing a good job. It bans in waves to stop hackers from determining which hacks/scripts are detectable/bannable. MOST anti-cheat systems work on this basis. VAC, Battle.Net's Warden - etc etc. The only reason hacking is less common in say WoW and DungeonDefenders (which uses VAC) is because the engine doesn't allow custom scripts in such a way. Don't blame BattlEye so much imo.

I'm fairly certain I saw who was doing this (but cannot identify them). I was being a bit of a douche for once and deathmatching in Cherno with a mate - we saw a female player in a building window. They were not looking for loot, or being stealthy. They were fixed looking at the base of the building we were in - I began firing. They backed off a little and then again stared at the building, Suddenly at my feet there was a series of explosions. I and my mate instantly logged off. He logged on later to find that our building had collapsed - thus he fell to his death on respawn. I waited for the server to have a scheduled restart before I could play again (Even though I pretty much died instantly after logging in to a player!! :D) EDIT: Also Elektro was on fire after the drama. There were also lots of helicopters spawned and crashed.
