Firstly Fuck Reddit ! :rolleyes: And all who Sails upon her In the Mod we had the Barbed Wire and whilst it was a little abused I think this could be implemented in the SA . Referring to something current like The Walking Dead , Fencing and Barbed Wire could be used effectivley and be a great feature , however only if they degraded over say a cycle of the Server. As far as Weapons I agree with those who want the amount of Military Type weapons limited, make them rare, not like the Mod where all 20 of us in our group has a Selection of every Weapon. Keep Weapons common like Revolvers , hunting Rifles from Farmers etc. Melee Weapons also has been very well covered and I love the amount of detail everyone has put into their Posts, fucking fantastic. DAYZ SA TEAM SPEAK Discussion Server Just a thought but we were wondering if people were interested in joining a common Team Speak Server to discuss DAYZ SA, a Public Team Speak Forum if you like. If there is Interest we shall set it up.

My point being what we can already see, it's a mish mash of it just happened and it happened Months ago, makes no sense. So not so much what is the Story, but they must be surely working to one or the other

Are we spawned into something that is just happening ? Happening right now makes sense would explain Food and Drink laying around in Buildings etc, a general state of Chaos . But if all ( Most ) Vehicles in the SA are all Burnt out, Trees and Weeds are overgrowing Buildings and many other tell tale signs , rusted Ship Wrecks etc this leads me to believe we Enter the SA months after the Initial Zombie Outbreak. So to me atm it looks like we have a mixture of the Two . Any plans to create this back Story ?

Disagree could be a Game breaker . As most people only Live for an Hour or so in DAYZ ( yes I know Ive had Characters for weeks also ) it may be adding something that's not ever even encountered by the majority. Yeah this worries me actually, I want to play in a Zombie Holocaust where the main Problem is first the threat of Zombie, then Humans. If we are playing the part in game of lone survivors its not like 1000,s and 1000's are still alive to the point where these diseases can manifest

Yeah agree Fraggle . I gotta say and I haven't said this before , I do believe this could be THE Game. I've been Gaming for 34 Years now ( started when i was 15 ) and have rarely got excited about a forthcoming Game . Currently involved in 2 Betas are myself and our Group, rFactor 2 and Arma 3. I purchase the majority of PC Games and no offence to the Games I have purchased I just cant get into them, it's me not the Games , just knowing that DAYZ Beta /Alpha Beta/Gamma is coming. Played Arma 3 DayZ mod last night first time ( Zoombies) and that was good. Those thinking about pulling the Pin and not waiting for DAYZ stick with it, your in for an experience your going to tell your Kids about in the History of Gaming

Mate i said the same. I have no issue with things changing because of circumstances, whatever they may be. However i get really pissed because there has never been once Posts to say Hey you know what the regular Dev Blog a Week is something we just cant do. Same happened when the December 2012 Release thing happened , Rocket Stopped talking on here, Reddit , Twitter and Facebook for a Month. Ok sure it was all for the better, they decided they needed to create a whole newish Engine. But never once did he comment. If something is not doable then fine, majority of us here understand, we support the Devs, but man up and just say so. A little disapointment but a HEAP of respect earned every time

ROCKET this is all the Info I need thank you, little snippets a pic here or there is great. Some of us dont want to be involved in some Reddit conversations and use the Forums as their DayZ Info Fix. I have no interest in a release Date, just regular updates as previously promised. Thanks

The Interviews we see now are at times slightly embarassing, ( I have said this before ) Interviewers asking "so Rocket will we see the SA have Rocket Packs for players to wear and fly about with ? " Rocket replies " It's something that we have discussed and down the track would look at adding it" , Interviewer " Will Liberaces Piano be available in the SA ? "............. Answer to all the question would be NO , but he never says it not once, look at every E3 Interview , never " NO we wont be adding a Rollercoaster and FunPark to Chernarus because it's a fucking stupid idea, but thank you for asking " This is why I believe they need a PR Spokesperson , let Rocket focus on what he does best and I hope develop a great game. So whilst they had the downtime one would think they would have changed the Site to now reflect the SA and not the Mod. 1 Hours work is all it takes, not including any new Artwork you may want to do for Forum Buttons etc

Most people watched E3 and thought Fuck me if you go on one more time about fucking idiotic Motor bike Helmets Rocket you will be choked to death. Next we get Matt posting ( guess you gotta give him something to do ) about getting people to create Radio Stations.....ohhhhh dear. People get misinformation and are confused about what is and what isnt true . WHY ??? Because Rocket chooses to use Reddit and Twitter to Post every thought that comes into his head and rarely if ever now Posts in the Forum, hence people getting confused with news and information. Rocket said himself just recently he's probably not the best person to be leading the Development of this Game , and I agree with him. Get someone to run Production and Development that has the necessary qualifications and allow Rocket to experiment and test his Ideas. This Game isnt going to be out until the end of the Year from what I can see, so get used to it fellas. Expect the same as you've got from day one sketchy , random and irregular information. Dont bother answering here I'm with the others on Reddit blurting out every thought I have in my head and debating everyone that disagrees with me , no hang on thats not me thats Rocket :D Edit : Note I'm quite happy with the development time, just disapointed with the lack of information that was promised
