Why are you answering my questions with questions, I dont know the answer hence the reason I asked 5 Questions. If you cant answer them how are you helping,

Is any one having doubts now about them using the Arma 2 Engine as a Base and then redeveloping to what they currently have . Was it a good choice ? Is this what you would have done and does it make good sense ? I guess on the monetary side they didnt have to pay for the Engine , however in man hours of development versus dollars it may have been cheaper to start with another Engine. Now dont get me wrong I don't know the answer to the questions I'm asking , I'm doing so as many Members here are quite knowledgeable on Game Development where I am not, so what do you Guys think ? Will these performance Issues ever be fully conquered ? EDIT : This FREE game is using the Half Life 2 Engine, I thought that was a pretty dated engine but look at the great Graphics

Have noted one thing strange, no Forum Moderator for over 6 + pages have posted In regards to Servers somebody could enlighten me, was it stated that we cant run our on Servers to the Public ? In Australia with the Mod we had shocking issues we mostly played the Seattle Servers

Yes it is in comparisant ( Although its a Mod that has restrictions placed on it ) to other Games out now , haven't played it since SA was announced actually, neither have anyone I game with . I'm honest , has nothing to do with being part of a Forum. And yes most Alpha's are SHIT but they serve a purpose , they allow Teams to get in Cash Flow to allow to pay the Developers Employees to be paid whilst finishing the Game . But not sure why you are bringing up the Mod in reference to my Post, we are discussing something totally different to the Mod

Why even concern yourself, probably the only thing I've learned as I have gotten older, is dont worry about something you cant control. Sure I would love if its released now, but Alpha's are mostly Shit. Was a point after an Update with Arma 3 It was totally unplayable for me, I came back to it a little later. Expect nothing dis similar , the Team will make mistakes with implementation of something and there may not be actually much to do in the Alpha in the begining anyway

What would be good if all the regular contributors here, we all know of each other, we might not all get along at times head off to each others Team Speak or Ventrillo for the Night after release. As an example its the Saturday after release we all go to Badfish's VOIP hang out talk about what we like etc. Would be a good Community type thing, might be a little hard with Time differences etc but manageable. Would be good to catch up with most from here as after release not really much use for a Forum down the Road after Bugs etc are fixed............anyway just a thought

I'm not impatient for a release they can take as long as needed for my liking.
