Hi all. I hope someone can help me. A hacker sent me to the debug plains, and following the clouds and setting sun at my back, ive ran east for a very long time (1 hour). I have no idea where i am, and keep running "lakes" that forces me further north. When i say lakes, it is the shore, but no water. Anyone who have some experience on this issue?

Tried that, doesnt work. still in the debug when i log back in (tried several servers) i have the latest version of dayz

noone??? please, i'm starving to death while running.

I can agree that there is alot of bitching about the hackers at the moment. But honestly, can you really blame people? And i think the amount of bitching tells us something about the scale of the problems facing the aplha in its current state.

In reply to the OP. You should be afraid. Yesterday i lost my 22 day character, having survived prior to that 4 mass teleports and used Alt-F4 to survive. But yesterday i was killed by a nuke. So i spent 4 hours gearing up only to be killed buy mass teleportation again. Tonight i was killed a 3rd time due to hacker going amok in cherno with nukes. This is alpha, but its kind of getting to me now. I really love the game/mod/alpha, but even i do have limitations. I will certainly play more, but if this lasts over a longer time i think i might struggle working up the motivation.

Not sure what to call this. Tried to log into the game on a server and the "loading game" took several minutes. So before i could even get into the game I was dead. Lost alot of gear, but i dont mind that too much. Just wondering if my character is "in-game" while the loading game message on the screen is the only thing i see?? EDIT: I was under a bush far away from anything interesting, so really bad luck i guess. And usually loading the game takes around 30seconds. When it takes alot of time i guess its a server issue?

Please dont walk up to an armed player unanounced swinging you gun and expect not to be shot. I've shot several players that have made no attempt to state they're intention and walk straight at me pointing the gun/weapon my way. I'm sorry, but you cant expect to live through that in a game like Dayz.

I'm using Six Launcher so all the startup parameters are boxes and no manual commands. I'm not using -winxp tweak.

Had you gotten a friendly reply i could understand you being angry. Since you got none and decided to take a chance, you really can't complain that you got shot.

I tried adding the startup parameters, and noticed a big difference. Tried several different servers and the FPS was much better (allmost 50% up) I'm using Six Launcher.

More or less the same problem. All other games i can set the settings to max and enjoy smooth fps. But in Dayz it's sometimes terrible. Allmost gamebreaking sometimes. Having said that, sometimes it's smooth and all is well. So it is a server issue. No doubt there.

My first kill was also kind of accidental. I ran into someone north of Rogovo. It's pretty rural so i didnt expect to meet anyone. Turning a corner i ran straight at another player. In panic i fired my shotgun and killed him. It was a panic reaction, and a feeling i think i never have had in another game ever. Afterwards i felt sorry for him since there was no telling if he was friendly or not. On the other hand, had i not panicked and waited i might have taken a bullet myself... who knows...

Yeah, same here. Been trying to get in, and able to stay in for 5 min tops before session closed message comes up. And it took forever to get in. Why someone would want to use DDoS attack on Dayz is beyond me. Absolutely nothing to gain from that imo.
