SO WHAT ? omg I'm not asking for a gun to start with I'm just trying to make it more player friendly and realistic. 2 things that I thought people would enjoy. -

Not like how you said it. It would be easier if you login and you have like a 5min wait time to pick things up or something if there has to be one. -
Id like to see a melee weapon at spawn in DayZ. By the looks of the map and the numerous amount of zombies it gives me the idea that the Infection/Zombie outbreak has been around for at least 6 months-1 year. In my apartment and in 95-99% of homes have one of the following. (Hammer, Hatchet, KNIFE, Crowbar, BAT, E.t.c.....) For living the amount of time listed above. I would think that someone could find at least one defensive object. This game is amazingly realistic and tough at the moment and due to the fact that so many people play it, I can tell that it needs nothing else added but hopefully you will consider my suggestion.
