They cant do anything to a private server. It is separate from the Official Dayz Hive, or should be blacklisted if its not. Either way, you aren't going to get them to do anything other than a black list. I am a server admin and I can tell you I do not have that sort of power. Also Heli's should not be available in the newer official hive servers. If they are around you have a hacker problem.

Could be legit. My server dumped all of us twice last night and twice today for no reason I could identify. I was driving a truck. I died. It wasn't cool. Coincidental sure. But just because the server restarted doesn't mean the admin was abusing it. Server restarts happen for all kinds of reasons.

Crimson Guards United Robbed someone at gun point and only taken their flashlight. Can't say I have but funny as hell. Lost your gear in a swimming accident. I heard that can be fixed in the server options somewhere, but yes, I have. Found a can of Mountain Dew. Found it, Drank it, Found another. Killed an unarmed survivor for their beans. Ive broken my legs standing still after having logged in. Ive been outright killed by a tree. And put into shock crawling into a tent. Fired a Lee Enfield in the center of Cherno (ground level) and survived. After running like hell through the bush for ten minutes to lose them all, yes. And that was stupid, lesson learned. Been killed by a survivor you tried to help. He tried, He died. There are always snipers watching me. Helped a stranger by killing the Zeds chasing them. IF battleye is detecting the overlay maybe its possible. A lot of hacks use an in-game overlay to control their options. The ban for Frap's overlay would be a mistake, and may be reversible especially if you have footage of your game play while using it saved. Worth a shot. I use xplit to record and stream. I have Fraps but the files get SOOOOO big. Xsplit will record same as fraps and use only 160 mb where fraps will use 3 gigs. no need to process the footage to get it into manageable file sizes.

I wish I had tents on my server eating gear, it would balance the ones that won't stop spitting out military hardware. Some I have managed to empty and save, but some I am unaware of, and others are just not safe enough for me to stick my neck out to deal with. They constantly revert to their last saved state. I say either fix this issue, or give admins more power to deal with them, I know, I know. ABUSE/CHEATS OMG!

Thanks for the beans, as you say, it seems that you are right Ive been researching the 2 accts thing for the last few minutes. Seems there would be legit ways to use that. I can see someone doing it to try to keep one account "safe" so to speak. But there are IP ban's for that sort of thing.

I have to be suspicious of the need for that. As these guys said that sounds like a global hive ban.

I fix this problem frequently by manually installing the beta patches. Then copying the ArmaIIoa.exe from the: Steam/Steamapps/Common/Arma II Operation Arrowhead/Expansions/Beta folder to: Steam/Steamapps/Common/Arma II Operation Arrowhead overwrite the existing .exe file. Now I recommend backing up the original file. then use the: steam properties, launch options (I willl edit mine into here when I get home) for those not using steam entering that into the shortcut's command line should do the same job. That should take care of it. If you already have your own launch options set in steam you shouldnt need to change them. Its the moving of the exe file that should solve that problem.

I got just one more thing to say, its a public server, ANYONE is allowed in, a tent in the bush could belong to anyone, it could belong to your mother for all you know. You call us out because I pay for the server to rep our clan, with absolutely no evidence, it gives you someone to blame, I understand you are angry that we found your tents and used them to figure out how to make the respawning gear issue go away. I have to admit I did take special pleasure in depriving you of your gear after my encounter with Visi, but thats no reason to come here and call us cheaters with absolutely no evidence and clearly no knowledge of the current state of the game. I mean how could you possibly have not noticed your own tents doing EXACTLY the same thing. Rest assured I will be repeating the process in quite a few locations I am aware of across the server, I cant do anything about the tents coming back but such is life. Unfortunately this process requires a server restart to make sure the gear enters the abyss never to be seen again. You have to remember that for me to go out and deal with that problem I am commiting a considerable amount of time and energy and possible runs back up from the coast because of you jackasses drawing attention to our server. Whether you are the hackers or not, I blame you for the problem. Either its you or this post is responsible for it. I can't activate any kind of "admin" mode and deal with the problem because every cry baby that doesn't get his way cry's abuse and the dev's tie our hands. I have to walk, run, bike, or drive like everyone else. I risk getting killed specifically in the location you felt was necessary to post all over the forums. I am afraid I will be leaving that one for the Devs. I cant open the files and edit the tent's inventories, contrary to what you may believe. I simply do not have that level of access. I can Start and Stop the server. I can view the server logs, I can set difficulty options like the 3rd person, crosshairs, map waypoints and personal locations, I can rename the server within the set guidlines to reflect the current version of DayZ and Beta, and I can play like everyone else. Thats It. I die just like everyone else. And I get frustrated with combat logging cowards who were dumb enough to stop the truck AND get out with me point a fully automatic assault rifle at the door.
