Hello, I bought the alpha the second it came out. I played a little and I didn't like that there was so few zombies and those very few were running through walls. So I stopped playing the game after few days and first few updates and now I am waiting for this crucial fix (for me) is fixed/ more zombies implemented. I just checked updates that came out and I'm not sure any of this is fixed/improved so I'm just asking to be sure - is there anything improved with the zombies? Their numbers increased, running through walls fix, their glitched running etc. or is all of this still the same? Since this is zombie survival game, zombies are very important for me and are the KEY part of the game. I know many of you will disagree. Before all of you "ITS ALPHA" guys start posting let me just tell you - I understand its alpha, I'm just asking if the game became playable for me? I have nothing against waiting for 7 more years for these fixes / improvements to be made. I bought it, I didn't like it, I stopped playing. Now I'm waiting for this basic fundamental things to work. I think that's fair. Thank you.

Disable clouds in the video options.

So I know that most of you have different goals in game. You get geared and then you go and kill other players. I am a little bit different. When I get looted I don't want to kill people I actually want to go out and help others in any way I can. I like to meet people and just mingle. If I could I would bring all the food/water/guns/supplies and give it to new players so they can easier blend in - in this horrible world. Is there a way to do this in DayZ without being killed? How? Or are there any other ways to help players that are not as risky? What can you suggest for a friendly giver like me?

Why do you guys even test blood? Just extract your own blood and save it for the future trouble...........be your own donor. no mixups there

I don't want to make anyone sad but I don't think they will be able to optimise the game so much that you will gain more than 1 FPS. It can only get worse since there are only 300 zombies per server, no cars, no anything, no dead zombies...This is the best it can be. They wont be able to optimise.

I tried to use a syringe on myself and it said : There's nothing left. Does that mean I'm a zombie? :(

I don't get it. How do I extract my blood and test it? The kit had all of those syringes, IVs, blood bags etc but when I tried to extract my blood with syringe it said Theres nothing left. ???

What do you get from that, I don't understand? The gun still holds 1 mag?

My character got restarted 4 times already. After updates and just randomly (not affected by updates). Is there any way to prevent this from happening or if it happens is there any way to get your old character back - maybe by changing to another server or something?

Well good. Now you know it happens to more than one guy. Still no answers to my questions in either of our threads.

I just have a need to say what I think about this game so far. I must say I was a little bit frustrated because I waited for almost 2 years since standalone was announced but never mind that now. Sometimes I'm also frustrated that DayZ projects are always in Alpha and it feels like it has some Alpha shield protecting it (as I imagine it) and nothing can go through that shield because its Alpha. Nothing beats Alpha. Alpha can do whatever it wants - because its Alpha. Sometimes I feel like even constructive criticism gets trashed away. But guys, Alpha needs criticism so it can grow into a better thing. Overall I'm happy this game got released and I must say I'm enjoying it. Yes my character got restarted couple of times and there are a lot of bugs but that's just the way it is and I accept it. I have no problems with it. I think Its not worse than the mod and that's the most important thing. I still enjoy finding out new stuff (new items, places and things to do) so its keeping me busy. The most important thing I wanted to say is that I salute your new philosophy Rocket. The basic needs such as biological and physical are more important than killing some guy who spawned at the coast. I like that you need to eat and drink more often. I like that there is less loot too. I especially like that there are not as many weapon loots as in the MOD and I would even make those loot chances for weapons smaller. Seeing a gun should be a scary thing and not just a normal scene which you see every few minutes. So keep it up devs, try to lower that PVP thing and give people more things to do. If I can suggest I would also add a timer between changing servers. Meaning if you get out of the server (by pressing the exit button with your free will) you need to wait 2-3 minutes to enter a different server. You can come back instantly to the same server before but if you intend to server hop, you'll have to wait. Also if you are wounded I would prevent the option to exit the server. Its good for all those action stories where some guy tries to kill you but somehow you defend yourself and hit him and then he disconnects...Most horrible feeling ever. That's just my 2 cents. Maybe I'll add something more soon.
