I'm available in Cherno atm, eventually making my way up towards zeleno. I'm currently running around resupplying myself after dying, but I'll try to help if anyone is in the area.

Yeah, update DayZCommander and it works. I think they're using a backup of the server list till the actual list is sorted... Or something.

lol Joe I went for a trip up to the other side of the map today with James (whitelist medic) and it was going pretty well, stocked up on meds, had my ghillie, FAL, NVGs etc, running through the darkness from town to town, getting shot at in Stary from scoping out a small group in Berezino. Decided to hook up with Soul since we were in the area and alas, one doorway stood between us, one god damn death trap of a doorway! Freshly spawned in Cherno, it was good to see the coast again :P ran around finding noob loot, met a cool survivor who seemed to be fed up with dying so we went on our own ways and I called it a night in some random house. Hopefully I'll be able to find a bigger backpack tomorrow and stock up on meds before heading back up off the coast more towards the SW to help out.

I'm near Berezino atm if anyone needs help, add me on steam or PM me.

Don't be afraid of dying, and going into high pvp areas. It's how you learn best about the game.

Night time is great. I can sprint around due to there only being 3-5 people in the server, zombies are even more stupid (even with this patch they can see well in the dark though) and it's great to loot dangerous places. All of this x100 when you have NVG.

Tents are still bugged - I didn't have a chance to check mine out fully, because I set it up on the wrong server, packed it back up, went to the correct server and poof, it was gone from my inventory (and the server which I put it up on) Not sure about vehicles, but the one I found a few hours before the new update disappeared. Also the graphical glitches that everyone else has been talking about, occurred @ balota airstrip today. Whenever I glimpsed at the airstrip, the screen turned into a frenzy of fucked up shit. Finally, when I put on my ghillie suit it replaced the suit in my inventory with civilian clothing, but I was still wearing civilian clothing. It also still temporarily resets your stats till you disconnect from the server when you put it on.

I may have stolen it. Was it near zeleno by any chance? It disappeared after the server updated though :/

It's good to be back in the game, restocked on supplies and helped a couple people back on the way to zeleno :beans:

Facepalm... One three letter word spelled wrong and the whole question falls apart :lol: Anyway I hope when I find a new vehicle it won't disappear like all the other ones I've found.

My experience with vehicles: Drive it, hide it. Come back and it's disappeared.

Yeah... About 50 times. Was a pretty good, hidden spot too. I put it down to %20Vehicles%20with%20ID's%20above%201%20million%20didn't%20syncronize."]this since I saved it a few hours before the update went out. Ah well, maybe I'll find another one soon :D

How to find crash sites: don't look for crash sites.

Since I'm too paranoid in this game, I tend to leave survivors alone... If I accidently bump into them & they have a gun, I shoot them. I haven't had anyone stalking me on my travels to patients so far except a few people who I avoided by using the ghillie suit :P

I found one of these yesterday. I survived my crazy driving but it disappeared after the patch. R.I.P awesome bike.

* [FIXED] Vehicles with ID's above 1 million didn't syncronize. Does this mean the vehicle that I found a couple hours before the server updated may have disappeared due to this?

Anyone have a link to download beta patch 95393? http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ isn't working.

Are there any servers that have updated properly? Afaik nobody has confirmed if tents are working (on confirmed, properly updated servers.)

I've found that NW is pretty dangerous. People tend to head up to Stary and NWAF from there, and stop off at zeleno first. Also lots of people searching around the borders for camps and vehicles hidden away. You should be fine if you keep your head down and scope out areas you want to head into first.

It's not hard to downgrade... To all those people moaning.

Wow this is retarded. People would really make their game look ugly and horrible just to find some tents and vehicles?

lmao :thumbsup: It really is annoying in the towns. I had to drive a bus from one end to the other last week, and the towns were impossible. I started to just detour around the towns completely

When I was new I climbed up one of them retarded green deer-stand type things, got to the top and wooooooooooooosh,SPLAT. Went to the top of a building, pressed Z, player does crazy combat run off side of the building and goes prone in the air... Shortly followed by woooooooooooooosh SPLAT.
