Yeah it's the waypoints. Problem is that they appear for everyone, not just you.

Sometimes they may have gotten shot but killed the person. Eg. I was shot twice by someone in a field and managed to kill them because they came up to me thinking I was dead, Merino came and helped me. But with some people I guess they did dc, eg the example you posted, the guy was living for eight days, he probably got shot, scared he would die and dc'd. I wouldn't help him if I thought that was what he did.

I'm trying to do the same thing, LeYuno. I haven't done much medicwise yet, since after my first patient I had to go to Berezino hospital, and I got shot and killed. Now I'm moving through, almost at the top of the map. I'm gonna try and find a safe place for my tent, so that I can store everything and only take what I need when I go out. Problem is I've heard tents can be a pain in the ass when it comes to server restarts n stuff.

Noobish simple question, but how much inventory space does a camping tent need?

I would shoot anyone you don't know/are not expecting. Other than that, try to find a unique way of still having fun in the game, even if you've past the whole looting stuff phase. Also I recommend playing with friends or a group. Much more enjoyable to play.

This is fkin annoying me lately. I never had to deal with it before that much... But today I died because I was being stalked, realised too late and bam bam. Somehow spawned in Stary so I went to loot and saw two different guys... On both occasions I unloaded 2 rounds into both of them, before I could get the third in, poof! They disappear :/ Hopefully a solution for this is implemented soon.

It's your own fault. If you had ignored the guy with the broken leg, you could have gone happily, and all those idiots would have attracted most of the zeds.

I've also noticed this. And I'm not playing on empty servers.... More and more even in barns n stuff all I see is trash loot.

Buildings, barns, deer stands etc. If you're searching all these places and find nothing you're just very unlucky I guess.

If you don't have any items that are really that valuable (sounds like you don't) then you might want to think about just dying. If not, you can get to a hospital and get a blood bag, but you need a friend or someone to apply it to you. I think food and drinks also add a bit to your blood level as well, but I'm not sure.

If I have no gun, I take the risk and try to introduce myself. If I have a gun or any other valuables, I either avoid or shoot if necessary. It's obvious, if someone sees you with a huge bag, a gun (or two), a ghillie suit etc. They're going to want all of that stuff.

The problem I have with 3DP off is that it really doesn't reflect the real life kind of view that we have. I don't know, I seem like my vision is way too limited for fluid movement. In RL I'm much more aware of my surroundings than I would be in dayz.

Yeah once, I was following someone thinking I was being smart by waiting for him to get further from the zeds before I take him out, but turns out someone following me didn't have the same patience and took me out, taking out my target too :( But I've also seen someone else who got the drop on me fail. In a supermarket I was sorting out my gear, the guy comes up behind me and shoots about twice, I fall and he's forced to deal with a bunch of zombies, turn around and unload a fuckload of led into him, we both go down :)

What is the point in killing new players? "Yaaaay, I killed a probably new player/player who can't protect himself who only has a bandage, torch and painkiller!" Well done bro.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have a friend who bought a server, yet he doesn't have a clue about it, just the requirements. Can anyone help? How exactly do you find all settings etc. to control your server? Like 3DP, CH etc.
