Not really a game for the deaf, honestly if they have no idea where gun fire is coming from at any time they're going to die alot and not have a good time. This is a game a defaf person should definitely NOT play. But implementing entire systems to cater to a select few, disability or not is just not going to happen.

357 is in 925 Beta, but before they left for christmas they forgot to patch some servers to 925. So, the patch is out, but no servers are running it. Thus no 357

So I played the mod, probably a little too much, clearly recall a couple times when I played 24 hours straight only moving for food and such. Now albeit it was bad the melee was much better than currently in standalone at least from where I stand. Wanted to see others thoughts on the current state of it as well. I'm hoping by release the melee will be effective enough to use against players if I sneak up on them. -I'm only getting 20 frames a second which makes precise aiming for the head difficult to say the least. -Going toe to toe, while I know is a bad idea, turns out the zombie can strike me while I can seemingly not hit it with a baseball bat that extends my reach by a good two feet. -Melee weapons being damaged at such a rapid rate seems to have something to do with the lack of damage output and should be addressed quickly. The other problem is the zombies themselves, they aren't currently implemented well, and need pathing improvements as well as animation and hit box adjustment.

Any eta on some preformance fixes? 2.93 GhZ i7 and 2GB Geforce 560 12GB Ram only 21-23 Frames.

The only reason I'm hesitant is the minimal zombies, and lack of vehicles, but most of all I don't want to buy it and then only three months down the road hackers start popping up again. That is a 100% Deal Breaker if people start teleporting around and spawning things in. It's just not gonna work. Thunder Domes all over again. I shudder at the thought.

End it. If someone DCs while in combat their character instantly is killed in the body remains. I have a couple friends with bad internet and we've not killed anyone in the last two weeks or so because combat logging is so rampant. End this Immediately. One of us DCs a lot, his internet kinda sucks and after three attmpted kills today he even says he wouldn't mind getting killed to a DC in combat. This is just beyond ridiculous at this point. If you can't handle dying then don't play the game. Period. It's a Survival game, and you will most likely eventually die. Part of the game.

Well if the body can't remain I'd be happy knowing they died for it. Also if a friend is stupid enough to shoot you for giggles, and you die to a dc that is a very minimal issue that's a lot of RNG hitting you at once.. Try having less stupid friends I guess?

Okay, here's some constructive criticism. If an ALT-F4 happens in combat, the character is instantly killed and the body remains. In the last three weeks of playing every person we've almost killed has combat logged. This is ridiculous. if they can't deal with dying then they shouldn't play the game. Period.

I don't hack, I've never hacked in any game I've ever owned. I hate the Practice and while nonchalantly looting Some town I get banned for teleporting. It may have been lag from XSplit streaming but I was not teleporting. Un-Ban Please and thank you.

Well that's cute considering I don't hack. And the Stream shows me clearly just running around with my XBow looting stuff for the last half hour. Perhaps dayz antihax needs to not be horrible? :/

Ummm, I loaded up the game this morning just fine but every time I try and log in to any server it says something went wrong, I just refreshed my DayZ Commander Version and it says my DayZ is Corrupt. What ze hell?

Long as you don't go against players with it you're fine. Not sure how much blood damage it does DayZDB says 3550 I think. So three shots [including constant bleeding from the first shot] with medium reload speed and single shot only is very hard to pull off in PVP, vs zeds just try and shoot them in the SIDE of the face because if you hit them in the face you'll probably lose your bolt when it face plants the floor. It'd also be nice for the fletchings (stabilizers) to glow in the dark for easier night-time use. I've lost many a bolt in the dark. >_<

I've taken a rather long break from DayZ and the last couple days I came back to play a little. Day before yesterday I wandered around with my leftovers from my previous playing. A DMR 9 Mags, a Mk 48 3 Mags, revolver, almost every tool but a bit lax on the medical supplies. I wandered around good ol' Stary and then was dropped with broken legs, I Machine gunned all the nearby zombies managed to morphine and bandage before the second shot went off. It missed. So I spent 20 minutes giving my persuer the run-a-round and I offloaded the DMR and all the mags in the woods so he couldn't get them in case he caught up to me and took me down.. I finally caught sight of him after doubling back at a diferent angle, unfortunately server restarted before I could set up an ambush. Then today I logged in and decided to head to Cherno see if I could help any fresh spawners. I was also all out of meds from the afore mentioned sniper. So being the intelligent person I am I head down towards Cherno and notice a Ural ride off to the east away from cherno on the highway. I shrug it off and make my way to the single medical box that spawns behind the hospital and start loading up on stuff, couple blood bags, epi pens and morphine. Then my screen starts to shake. I blink, close the menu, just in time to see the baby blue ural pull up infront of me. Over voice chat I greet them, and stand up, lower my weapon and step three feet closer to the truck. I proceed to talk to them, and then the passenger hops out and mows me down with her own Mk 48. I sigh and shake my head, then click the respawn button. Komarovo. Two cities away, heading back towards cherno since I stll need meds. I grab an axe and make my way over there, stopping by the Balota med tents and grabbing a G17 off one of the stands. Then I keep on to Cherno, once I get there I make a trip to the supermarket picking up a Crossbow, the church and two of the apartments finding an Alice Pack, figuring my body would've been stripped and looted since they had the truck to store it all immediately but I decide to check anyway to see if there is anything still in the med box.. Low and behold despite my long absence the Ural is sitting there still. Without a second thought I hop in the drivers seat and steal their truck. Once I'm out past Prigorodky I get out, save the truck and check it's contents. To my dismay My beloved Mk48 wasn't inside. But it did have a L85AWS, M107, AS50. Then I notice they commited a Cardinal Sin of DayZ. They Left 3 Satchel Charges in the Truck. I get back in and drive out to the wilds. I sacrifice my Crossbow and steal both sniper rifles and the L85, then with great pleasure I set up the three Satchels and walk away. After I'm safely out of range, I slide my mouse wheel down to Touch of Bombs, and then Boom.
