Everyone keeps talking about if you kill people there is this hearbeat type thing, what is it and what does it do? and how do you actually get it? what is the achieving criteria?

So many people cry on the forums, me included that this game is unbalanced and full of crap. But not no more my friends. I have figured it out, the magic of the game, i have found it! Right now i have everything i could ever want, so i have decided to do just that, hide all my good items, and go have fun, i found about 4 vehicles in the last couple dayz, im going to take the least rare (probably the tractor) and high tail it around and see how long it takes until i get shot dead, or i could go around on a high population server and shoot people, see how long it takes for me to die, and ill be a good sport about it, if you do kill me i will wait until im actually dead and let you take my hard earned gear, because i have realized the true meaning of Dayz, DIE DIE DIE And you may think im egging people on, well i am, i have a hidden stash with the best of everything that no one but me will ever find, and in the future if i ever want everything i can always go back, grab my stuff and resume being a forest hermit with everything i need to survive out of civilization. I hope you become just as enlightened as i have, the simple trick is, not to give a shit, if you dont have high hopes, when you die you wont be mad, you will shrug and go back to looting, over and over and over again, because thats what Dayz is, a walking simulator.

And i already enjoyed getting it, i would like to enjoy getting it again but i would also enjoy having it which is why i dont want to lose it.

I get this when im in cherno with nothing but a pistol, which is why i stashed everything i own and am prepared to run from where i am to cherno and duke it out on a 49/50 server with nothing but what i can find.

As much as i agree with you, i did work to get that stuff, i have a suit picked out that i save for occasions, is that so wrong? the fun in the game is looking for gear and then using it, so i did that for a few days, now i have what i want, i put it away, do it again, have fun killing and getting killed and then when im ready i can get my things back and hardcore it again. How am i wrong?

Ok so a friend of mine stumbled upon a group of tents in the far North East of NY8 and there were some really nice items in there, we opt to leave them alone but some players logged in and saw us and began shooting us, after i killed them i said fuck you and we took their stuff and moved it to our camp, later we logged on and found our camp empty like before we took them, and went back and saw everything was back to before we looted them, so we took them again, put them back played for the day (about 6 hours) then went to bed woke up, gone again, we went back later that day and found the camp moved, this gave us 3 conclusions: A: The server admin abusing powers and reverting the server to save his or a friends gear (I assume against the rules) B: A Hacker who moves our stuff back to the tents so he doesnt lose his stuff (Far less likely) C: These players somehow followed us after being killed and took their gear back and then moved it (I think not) So as far as i can tell those items became the spoils of war after they shot dead 2 of 4 of us, but me being a total boss was able to take out all 3 of them with a AKM whilst i was going up against a Sniper with a AS50 and 2 guys with AWS. Some of the stuff they had we questioned, like 15 Satchel charges and 4 Mk.48 around 6 GPS 2 NVG 3 AWS 2 AS50 3 M107 4 Mountain dew and some random other guns even about 6 M4 Holos. It was more along the lines of us trading with them until they logged in and shot at us, then i killed them for trying to take us by suprise when they could have just said hey wtf are you doing here, we were actually leaving, we were just exploring the area and stumbled upon them, we didnt want to oppsose until we had to defend ourselves, after using 4 clips of ammo and 4 steaks to stay alive long enough to take them out we had to restock supplies, but the butthurt kids we killed start abusing server admin powers and revert the server to save their gear? and then move it? yea that shouldnt be allowed, all we actually kept was what we got off the bodies and a couple steaks and guns from the tents, so please tell me if we are in the wrong here for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and then taking what we earned in a firefight.

Well i went from having the following: 1 AKM 4 Mags 2 Cans beans 2 Steaks 2 Cans Purple Drank (Cola) 2 Cans Pepsi 1 Pair Binos 1 ALICE pack to having: 1 AWS 6 Clips 1 M1911 4 Clips 2 Steaks 2 Cans Mountain Dew 1 Large Coyote Backpack 1 M107 3 Mags 1 M4A1 Holo I would have also had a Mk. 48 and a AS50 but the backpack i took off the corpse of the assholes that shot at us for no good reason (hurr durr) reverted as i logged off, went from having a AS50 2 clips and a Mk. 48 1 Belt to being the crap in his backpack. What pisses me off is i get caught by a bug and post about it, they tell me to stop being so carebear butthurt, so i stopped giving a fuck, and then i find their camp and they do the same shit i asked to do, i saw who the bodies were, i could post names but im not an asshole.

First of all, the M4A1 CCO SD is a really common gun, i have 5 of them, second the AS50 is the best sniper in the game, i would gladly trade a DMR for one, i dont currently have NVG but if you want to trade my DMR for a AS50 im all for it.

Well earlier today, i found a Heli crash had a M107 2 clips, and 2 L85 AWS, i picked the M107 up and put it in my coyote backpack with the 2 clips replacing the M24 i previously had, and i replaced my M4A1 CCO with one of the AWS, i then left and logged out, about 30 mins later, i logged back in and i was back at the Heli crash site, my AWS was once again a M4A1 CCO and the m107 became a M24 and it wasnt a roll back because i had 4 clips for the M24 and dropped them when i picked up the m107 but when i logged in the ammo was where the M107 clips were but were M24 shots, so it converted not rolled me back, and i noticed the other AWS was still there, so i picked it up, over 2 hours later, ample time for my char to save, i logged out in a safe location, logged back in, there was no gun in my primary slot, also my Large Coyote backpack had become a Alice pack with a bunch of random ass gear, so i assume i merged with another person and got his backpack, later on i died, so what i would like to know from the staff. Once you fix the AWS and the Suits, i was wondering if you could give me back the following that i lost due to bugs (inb4 ITS IN ALPHA, i really dont care, i want my stuff back that i didnt lose legit) 1 L85 AWS 6 Clips STANAG SD 1 Large Coyote Backpack 1 Tent in backpack 2 Ghillie suits i picked up from the Cher Appartments the rest of the stuff i could give a crap about, i can find that again, but i would really love to have a working AWS that i can lose legit, if i die that my problem, i can accept that, but a random gun bug that is NOT my fault, that i dont accept, so i would please like the return of the things i lost due to bugs.

First of all, fuck you Alpha sayers, get a new quote to spam, second to all you butthurt kids, i could care less about your opinions, i want my shit back that i found legit, and used legit, but was taken because of a game that has bugs, yea its Alpha but its still a game and my stuff is dissapearing for no reason, in ANY other game if that happened i would get my stuff back, but your saying because hes so high and mighty he wont? well if he thinks that way then he doesnt deserve the many people who join this game hoping to have a good time, because i sure as hell dont have a good time when i spend MY time playing his game, finding good gear, and then having it all go away because of that shit, so no i wont accept that, soon as they fix the bugs i want my stuff back, if i get my stuff back then i have no problem supporting this game, hell if the staff actually listen to players i would donate to them, i would do whatever i can to help them, but if they ignore bugs that piss people off, no i wont support them, and neither will many other people. I for one am sick of bugs and sick of hackers, fix that shit or dont make the game. 4 broken patches in a row is retarded.

Here is a guide you can try, if you OWN Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead, uninstall them, reinstall them, run OPERATION ARROWHEAD then close it, download 6 launcher installer, uninstall 6 launcher and reinstall, once it verifys and updates and stuff, click a LATEST PATCH AND BETA PATCH SERVER. and update, now join said server, and it should work, if not you can add me on skype my skype is MalganisUO and i will team viewer help you.

Holy hell that was some andrenaline rush, i was in US485 respawned in Kamenka so i ran north to Zelenegorsk. Ran into the back of the grocery store because i was being chased by zombies, as i turned into the grocery store via the only open door, i heard the opening of a can of soda, soon as i turned into the grocery store i aimed, saw my guy, shot directly in the head with a 2rnd slug from my double barrel. He went down before he could even shoot back, so i ran into the room, and the zombies sort of ignored us, started looting my corpse and saw he was still alive, shot the only other round of my double barrel, dead, took his M4A1 M203 and his backpack, looted the rest of him, but then i heard footsteps... Aimed my new gun just to see another person coming from the front of the store to the back, let loose 15 rounds of my new toy into that one, he had a AK-74 shot 4 times, didnt hit and so downed another one, by now my heart is racing so i head into the front to loot my next kill. When all of a sudden a Smoke Grenade falls on me and i get shrouded, so i ran into the back full speed, layed on the ground and waited, heard someone walking but it grew fainter. So i backed up into the far back and it was the best idea i ever had, soon as i got back there and brough up my aim the door to the left of the far right back opened, and in came target number 3, i turned put 5 bullets into him, he started running away but he passed out before he could, i then took out a hatchet, and hit them 3 times to death, and he watched me do it! Then after a few mins, i got a ALICE pack, every tool but a toolbox (oh the irony) and some binos, wish i got some NVG. After all that i tried talking to them over Direct or Group chat, but no reply so i thought i would retell my adventure on here, hope it makes someone laugh, and you have no idea how much i wish i was recording, the best things always happen when they arnt on tape :( Well this is a message to the three guys i killed on US485, Joey, Buddy, and Sirrmissalot, i am both sorry for what i did, but i did it to protect myself, and i am both proud of myself for taking all three of you out with worse firepower and less items than you, and im dissapointed that you didnt put up as much of a fight, it was 3 against 1 and i won? either i got real lucky or you got real unlucky.

You have no idea how insane it actually was, i didnt even know there was anyone in there, i turned and there was a split second decision and i made it, rather than let them kill me, i took them out, and put everything i had into doing it, i didnt want to do it, i really didnt but i had to or they would have killed me.

Found a M136, picked it up, it took the place of my backpack and my backpack disapeared, cant find it anywhere, how can i get my backpack back?

great so another bug ruins my playing experience, this shit better get sorted out eventually like what the actual fuck.

So this morning i was in Vybor in the supermarket and i made my way toward stary, on the way i found a heli crash with a M107 and a AWS, picked them up and went to the woods near NW airfields, logged out and went and got something to eat, came back logged back in and i was back at the Heli crash, the AWS turned into my M4A1 CCO and the M107 Became my M24, but the guns i dropped were still on the ground, i also noticed a second AWS under the crash and picked it up, an hour later the server crashed, and im afraid to log in, if the AWS isnt still in my hands then is it still bugged?

I woke up this morning and logged on to six launcher, i cant get into any servers, all appear greyd out, but i found 2 servers that are patched to 1.7.2.2 idk if i can get into them at this point, but was there really a patch?

How do you downgrade from 1.7.2.2 to 1.7.2? i dont see the downgrade option.

I was happily playing the game when all of a sudden i get kicked for Battleye corrupted memory, and now i get stuck on waiting for char to create? Whats the problem now? whats breaking the latest patch this time?

From what iv been told you cant join any servers, when you do you will lose everything you have and have to start over, i could give a fuck about my items at this point i just want to play.

When the game updated to 1.7.2 it requires people to start new chars? thats bullshit. I just spent most of today getting equipment with my friends and you drop a update on us that requires us to start over? what the fuck? I cant get into any servers but apperently people are playing, iv been told on 6 different servers that you have to start new, i dont want to fucking start new, i want to continue with the amazing shit i spent all day getting.

To unholy, i am not a carebear, i happened to spend almosed 6 hours of my only day with nothing to do collecting things for my team, and now its gone because of stupid ass updates, i already lost all my shit to a hacker last week, and now this? Seriously i just found everything i needed and now i have to watch all that disapear with no warning. What a bunch of crap, who knows mabey i can get to my corpse before it despawns
