A restart followed by a Battleye re-install (after which windows told me it may've installed incorrectly, so I re-installed it again using window's "recommended settings") fixed the issue, thanks!

If so what version?: I'm running whatever Steam automatically updates me to, so I'm not sure. Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: Six Launcher What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: Whenever I try to join a game, I get the initially lobby screen, click continue, it finishes loading the game and then I see a quick black screen and am kicked out to the menu. I've tried on many different servers. I recently moved all my data to a new hard drive (since my old was failing) so it's a fresh install of ArmA 2 and DayZ. Everything worked fine on my old hard drive. Your PC specs: Intel i5 Processor, Nvidia 550M Graphics, 6Gigs of RAM.

I know the "Bad Serial..." issue can be caused by not running (and having steam do a first-time setup of) both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 CO at least once through steam.

With no error messages, just kicked out? If so I'm having the same issue....
