As far as I am concerned it's working just fine! Dude had a "Cheat Engine" running whilst playing DayZ and he got banned! What is it that you think "is not working the right way"? -

There is another post here in dayzmod that shows the same issue, it was solved by cleaning out the computer and increasing airflow... Could your system be overheating? what is the CPU temp idle and during game?

How are you launching the game? I'm guessing SiX for DayZ and other Arma2 mods from the game itself... Could be Six Launcher doing it's server refresh stuff?

Is your hard drive SSD? if not when did you last defrag? (Arma is all hard drive)

You sure this is not a Java issue?

Sometimes people will pickup what was in the stand and move it to a pile nearby, if they didn't make that pile far enough away the stand will not spawn new loot... Look around the area, are there dead Zed? That and sometimes they just don't spawn much.

Best launcher I've used... The recent servers feature is nice, but the update, friends, and patch popularity info is amazing. No issues with internet lag, or router resets! +1 DayZ Commander -
This does not sound like a battleye issue, but more like a system issue. Can you post your system specs?

Clasius your system is what the new aa setup is designed for,,, http://community.bis.../wiki/arma2.cfg for your system try PPAA=2; PPAA_Level=3; keep AA off in game. Cheers good luck. EDIT: WARNING this setting was removed in 1.61 beta as deprecated Never mind... :(

The best as far as I concerned comes from the hard-coded sharpen strength of FXAA 2 with a level of 4. PPAA=2; Sharpness over fuzzy any day.

I saw this happen in Lirikk's live stream, your 3 tents are next to a hill that a bike can get amazing speeds on... LOL (I will look for the link it was yesterday or the day before!)

I don't know if it's because of all the patching but a tent I placed 2 weeks ago is still there, I died while placing the tent due to animation/collision detection issues... I've only saved it once and it has kept items this whole time. However another tent I placed yesterday is gone and I am still alive... so... I have no idea...

If someone does not lower there weapon they should be shot. The most unused feature in arma 2/DayZ is SURRENDER ... You can drop your weapon and put your hands behind your head, just bind it in controls. When I don't have a weapon and I run into someone, surrendering often "shocks" them and usually ends up in some great rp for me and them.

Sounds like you have a french operating system? and English Arma... Just clear out all the keys and put your own in there, you should be fine... Good Luck

Can you not uninstall the beta from add remove programs like you could in the past?

Rebind all your keys - select the "Infantry" drop down, clear it all out and make it your own... You can't see the map because you have not picked one up and put it on your tool belt. You should see your axe if it's "in hand" off your tool belt. next question?

You can roll back easy enough... just uninstall the current beta and install the 1.60... Get yourself to 1.60.94700 Should take 10 minutes.

So are most people playing with 1.61? Looking at the current dayz requirements... PREREQUISITES Make sure you have the ARMA 2 Combined Operations (v1.60 or newer) (ARMA 2 Original and Operation Arrowhead expansion) installed I think I am best to keep what I have installed and wait for the Arma2 1.61 beta that includes dayz... EDIT: Yeah I just looked at six launcher... you all are crazy for updating...

I installed the latest beta from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ and it put me at 1.60.94700. I'm having issues with loot not showing. Should I have installed 1.61? Strange.

I did a fresh install of arma 2 when I updated to the latest beta and patch 1.7.2... I now have city names. :)

Glitchy zombies and no loot spawning

I am having the same issue, "no loot"... There are a few items here and there, but it's the same item all the time, crowbars and vest pouches. Checked a few servers, re-spawned a few times, tested a few more servers... same issue.
