Hi there, I am server admin of one of the servers hosted by VILAYER, I appreciate that you're trying to fix and update the servers but please provide a warning that you will be restarting them, we are in middle of driving and suddenly the server restarts without any notice or e-mail or anything. appreciate if you warn about this before hand and not just do what you like. yes I am quite frustrated because this happened 3/4 times now.

When they spawn inside a barn or even just outside they wont move for a few seconds then they pick up a random pathing. Although sometimes they spawn oddly, especially in indoor areas.

Just Download the new DAYZ 1.7.2.3 addon files and put them in your Arma 2 operation arrowhead/@dayz/addons folder, you can delete the old 1.7.2 from that folder before you copy in the new 1.7.2.3 files. Should be a total of 12 or 14 files i think all together if you redownload everything. Then go into your Arma 2 operation arrowhead/expansion and you should see a folder called beta. you can delete that folder completely and download and apply the new arma 2 beta patch here http://dayzmod.com/b...Build_94876.zip after you did this the beta folder you deleted will return and the game version will be 94876, if you still had issues after that copy the arma2oa.exe from the beta folder and paste it in your main Arma 2 operation arrowhead directory to make sure the correct beta exe is running.

Hello every one. First of all thanks to the devs for this very stable and smooth hotfix. A few things that i like to mention here, some feedback and some help to the issues people are having. 1. Up on first time log in from patch 1.7.2 to 1.7.2.3 you probably will have your character reset at a new spawn point and empty inventory, this happened to me and my friend playing on my server how ever as rocket stated that if you kill your character and respawn your old character settings and location will return. i can confirm this because as it worked for me and my friend, 2. I can confirm no more issues with any kind of clothing in the game. 3. No issues with gutting or cooking the animal meat what so ever. 4. Loading into the server seems to work normally (based on server ping and location) so no problems there so far. 5. FPS slightly improved it seems but i didn't notice anything wrong with the FPS before anyway. 6. If your having issues with Tents or vehicles not spawning then a server restart should help resync all that and make then appear again. Overall played for a good 4/5 hours everything was great, zombie aggro range seemed good and you can sneak past them if you do it right. Thanks again for the quick patch.

I just spoke to Lee on ViLAYER steam speak, he mentioned that everyone with ViLAYER automaticly get patch 1.7.2.3 installed, i just checked that under the updates and is patch is installed for me, u dont need to do much about it but i do recommend keeping the server off for a little while until the crezyness is settle down.

Same thing on my server too i get the error spamming on the side chat.

Is a good thing if they did, apparently from reading this other topic on the Day Z Forums they should of send you some sort of a client layer ID so you can use that to log in and update the server files manually, but not only we don't have that we also got no word when are they going to apply the Patch. I mean if I can get the latest server files I can try to apply the update using the control panel but there is no way around that too. This really sucks not been able to play and having no options to do anything about it as a "Admin" Edit: I also have a Open Ticket to ViLAYER but good luck getting an answer any time soon

Yes hopefully, I got no update available for me too, My client is updated and so is the Day Z mod files but if ViLAYER doesn't provide the update for the server files we going to be stuck on the loading screen. I hope Lee applies the update fast because I hate to wait and not be able to use my server because they taking time providing the update. P.S: Anyone with ViLAYER got the update available to them?

Hi there Lee, Good to hear your well again first of all, and I like to ask you a question in regards to my server. I have already made a ticket about this problem but sadly I haven't received any answer for 48 hours so I remade a new ticket today. Now as for my problem basically I live in the UK and I wish that my server is EU time more or less, this pretty much means that Day during Day and Night during Night. Now you guys have implemented a new "changeservertime" tool which you can use to change your time zone. However over the last days the Day Z HIVE was under DDoS attacks and servers had some issues, but now the servers are all up and running smoothly and my server time is 03:05 AM Pitch Dark and my Current time in UK as I am posting this is 07:00 AM. I spoke to a helpful person on your Online Live help and he suggested that the server time zone from the Vilayer Control panel should be set to UTC +0 and he even restarted the server for me after he made the changes to the time zone. But the problem still persist and my Game server time remains on 03:05 AM Pitch Dark, while my local time is 07:00 - 08:00 AM from the time I am posting this. As far as I understand UTC +0 Should be 1 hour Ahead of UK time which means 7 AM UK time should be 8AM server time or something like that. I also noticed that the server time keeps jumping back every time I log off my character and log back in, like the other day it was 7PM server and I played on the server until 8:30PM server time and I reloged to the server and the time was back to like 7:30PM so it's really bugged. As you can see this is causing a major issue for me because the people playing on my server along with me are left in the pitch dark during day time due to "changeservertime" tool not working correctly or some other problem with the server that is causing this. Kindly help me resolve this problem because is a major inconvenience.

Recently we got reports about players spawn camping some of the spawn locations and I just wanted to let everyone playing on our server know that Spawn Camping or Fence Wire Abuse or any sort of cheating will not be tolerated and you will get banned for this. So please do not come on the Day Z forums and whine about Admin abuse if you happen to get caught and banned. Thank you and have Fun playing.

The problem with multiplayer community for almost every game now days is you have insane amount of kids under the age of 16 playing it, especially if it's a free mod like day z, and amongst all these kids you will always find some retard who goes the extra mile to get attention. But I'm telling you man, most multiplayer community's for games now days is plagued with kid trolling and ruining it. A good example of this is League of legends. Anyways guys keep up the good work and I hope we can have some sort of a server backup/roll back system in place so people don't suddenly lose a week of their character.
