Ouch, looks like you're 2nd in line. OP was inb4 you. I had this problem. I logged out as soon as I saw the message for the 1st time. My Character got wiped. 2nd time too, I did the same thing. The 3rd time, I became demoralised and buried my head in my hands... for 30 seconds then restarted. Could it be? Ever since I logged off after 30 seconds, My char data has been saved. It might be coincidence or it might take a few secs for your char data to save. Wait 30 secs then log off/on. Worked for me ever since, survived 8 restarts Before I learned to wait, I'd survive 2/4 restarts. Might be coincidence, I might be lucky, But it has increased the odds in my favour There's a time and a place for everything.

For years, i saw creepy faces on the floor of my bathroom, every time i took a shit. The floor had random pattern with dusty-glitter. Unless you're taking a shit by the side of the road, I'd suggest you'd spend more time scanning the horizon for other players :P

I'd like to see some Military books, detailing strategies for infantry, vehicles, armoured vehicles, tank etc etc. They are out there, I have an book called "Iron Fist", detailing Tank warfare in WWII. I'd also like to read a LOTR book. If it's raining, I'll lock-down a house and read. If I'm injured, I'll do the same after eating a bounty of food. anybody else find reason to read? other than just to do it..

(We still wait for Campaign missions) When DayZ reaches FULL GAME mode, the price will double. You bought it while it was cheap. You've got a bargain m8. I was talking about awareness, Field Of view. Which is what you'd have by tilting your head and rolling eyes. Jumping on the the spot. Yes, you could use your legs to look over a wall, could you?
