I seriously doubt. That people are having issues with someone playing on different servers from time to time, but more that people have issues with people "hopping" to different servers to gain the maximum "loot". Ie. Loot one place, then join another server to loot again. It's basicly the same issue as someone who starts a firefight with someone and then quickly DCs and then puts himself somewhere at an advantage point and logs back into the same server again, and kills someone.

I mainly go up north because I like being in the wilds, surviving on mother nature. + meeting up with friends to search for heli crashes. It's a lot more fun, going about in the wild to be honest.

I believe I read somewhere that you cant be banned for using it if you looted it from some hacker. But only if you do it yourself. But it might be up to the admins, but I doubt it. + it might not be any ammo for it out there anyway.

Good question. Probably because they find this more interesting then the average PvP-based shooter. So now they think this survival game is a PvP game mainly.

If they dont keep it up-to-date within a certain time period lets say 24 hours, that server should be removed from the game list until it's updated.

It's been confirmed (I believe) that if the server is running an old hive version, the issue is still there. If the server is running the latest hive version, it works fine.

That. There needs to be small thought behind it, instead of just pure psychopath.

I'm not. I'm simply saying that the issue with this game at its current state is that people dont coop, due to being afraid of being killed as soon as they turn their backs. There NEEDS to be some kind of small disadvantage to be a bandit. And no 15 ft. away heartbeat is not the way. Since you'll be dead when you're that close anyway. Or have another murder count.

No it's not. That's a basic FPS-game aka deathmatch. Kill everything you see. This is a survival game at it's core. And please, dont count ARMA into this, since it's not ARMA. In the beginning it was quite ok, to find survivors to play with. Now it's just bandits, basicly. Or people to afraid to teamup. Because there's no real benefit to do so. In a real world scenario, it wouldn't be like this.

In a zombie apocalyptic world. You wouldn't shoot on sight. You would avoid them at all costs. And if they came up to you, odds would be that you wouldn't be killing each other right away. Since that draws attention of zombies. And then you're both fucked. Anyone saying otherwise, have no clue about zombies, or human behaviour. Sure our survival instincts will kick in, but we'll not start shooting everything, since that will cause zombies to creep near.

Dont post this stuff on the forums, the cod-kiddies will just go into a frenzy.

It could be fixed by not allowing to change server. But what really needs to be done is to make it a disadvantage to be a bandit. Now it's onlt beneficial. Something needs to be done about that.

The average DayZ player is just sad. Everyone isn't from UK/USA. Most bandits are like that thou. They think this is CoD.

The beta is not being installed as far as I know. Since the WRONG CD KEY error. Or am I just being to picky now?
