Welcome to dayz! Sounds like you're very busy. If you would like us to view video, I suggest embedding it in your post, as your link doesn't work.

Yes, I had the same problem. There were no options over the goat I gutted, nothing to scroll over. Of course moving around doesn't work but until people have had it happen to them, they keep telling you to move around and scroll your mouse button. I had to leave the damn goat. <_< :emptycan:

Want to start a new elite group for day z standalone.
Sula replied to Famous123's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Difficult to shepard a flock of lone-wolves! That's going to be a big challenge because we don't take kindly to someone else giving orders. I'll stick with being a loner but good luck with your plans. -
Coming in my DayZ house and taken my things with a lee enfield in his house.
Sula replied to Nick2389's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Was recently slaughtered after a week of having everything, including night vision goggles, antibiotics, gps etc...I then spent 24 hours being repeatedly killed every five to ten minutes. I've often had another player run through the supermarket, me lying there with a broken bone, hoping for help (not!) and as he passes by shoots me dead without even stopping. I think this game is ultimately doomed, no matter how good the good stuff is because people want different things from it, and those who want to just PvP get bored easily. So they're not likely to hang around. Whereas those who like the other opportunities the game could offer are being denied the chance to put them into practice because of the PvP stuff. So we're not likely to last long-term either. I hope I'm wrong but I don't imagine any new-and-significant changes happening to the dayz mod now the proper game is in development. But I do hope so. -
...in real life you drive passed a row of houses and wonder if any of them is enterable.

Give Current Dayz Players Free Game Keys On Release
Sula replied to Mikeloeven (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
If you want to play dayz then you need arma2 and pay for it. Is it frustrating that Rocket announced an all new dayz type game separate from the mod? Yes, I think so. Should that entitle you to swap arma2 for the new game when it's released because you bought arma2 and got the free zombie mod? No, this is business. It exists solely to make as big a profit as it can. Would it be nice if you got a discount? Yes but so would flying unicorns for everyone. I was furious when I read about the new game because I realised what it meant for the future development of the mod - no Rocket but at best maybe community development. But from what I've seen watching interviews with Rocket, it does look like the mod will continue just not in his control. That's good enough for me. -
This is what was on Dayzwiki, I hope it helps. Humanity is an in-game statistic that determines whether a player is a survivor, a bandit, or a hero, as well as being a general indicator of how well a player interacts with others. A player starts off with a humanity of 2500. A humanity of at least 5000 will give a player the hero skin. Conversely, a humanity of 0 or below will give a player the bandit skin. A player will gain humanity upon administering medical supplies to another player, and will lose humanity by injuring or killing survivors or heroes. Gaining humanity There are several ways to gain humanity in DayZ. The primary method by which players gain humanity is through administering medical supplies to other players that need treatment, such as through bandaging a bleeding player. If a player's humanity drops below 2500, it will be replenished at a rate of approximately 30 points per minute until the player's humanity is restored to at least 2500. Neither bandits nor zombies yield humanity points when killed. Healing others 20 humanity points will be received for using a bandage to stop another player's bleeding. 250 humanity points will be received for using a blood bag to give another player a blood transfusion. 50 humanity points will be received for using morphine to heal another player's fractured or broken bones 20 humanity points will be received for using painkillers to relieve another player's pain. Losing humanity A player will lose humanity points when injuring or killing survivors or heroes. Humanity loss when killing a survivor is based on the number of projectiles or explosions that hit plus the amount of humanity that the other player has upon death. Notes It is unclear whether epi pens, heat packs, or antibiotics will yield humanity points when administered. A bandit will become a survivor at 2000 humanity. It is unclear at which point heroes will revert to being a survivor or if this happens at all. Using pellets against another player may reduce your humanity substantially, due to the large amount of projectiles being fired. Bugs A bandit may sometimes appear to be a hero. The mechanics of this deception are unclear.[1] There is currently a bug in which humanity may be reset upon switching clothing. (Which you can fix by disconnecting and reconnecting)

From what a lot of you are writing here it seems you haven't read how humanity works. You don't lose humanity if you kill a bandit. In fact, I think it goes up. I did post it in the threads but will look it up and post again here.

I've been feeling a bit frustrated with dayz lately. Spawning in strange places so often gets me a little down. But today one of my favourite people suggested I take a look at a server. Said it was quiet and so it would be less likely that I'd be shot in the head the moment I spawned. So I gave it a try, and the moment I arrived in town I ran straight into a bicycle. Just parked in the middle of the road, outside the church. I looked around to see if it belonged to anyone but couldn't see a soul. So I took it and went for a ride. It was brilliant. Up and down the coast I went, even did a bit of hunting. I had such a good time, I wanted to tell everyone. Sometimes, when you're a bit down, or your mates have pissed off to Lingor Island or you're bored of spawning god knows where, some little surprise happens and your day's so much better! That was my first experience of seeing any kind of vehicle spawned in dayz, right there, just for me. :)

I'll only put low value things in it - it's just to experience putting up a tent. I don't mind if I lose it all due to some glitch. Yes, dayz is a different game when it's no PvPers. It's just a happier, more pleasant place. I wonder why Rocket seems so keen to make the PvPers so happy. Odd. I felt like I'd been on a mini-vacation today just cycling through fields. Goodnight.

Yep, it was great having just zombies to worry about. Tomorrow I shall be attempting to put up my first ever tent! *gasps in awe* :beans:

Need urgent transfusion. Blood down to 1900. Just fell through a wall and bled out while taking morphine for a broken bone. Is anyone near Elektro who could help me please? I have blood but need help with a transfusion. Thanks - sulalee01 on skype. Can provide coordinates, and will move to whatever server you like. -
See, you sound like the ideal dayz player to me. I wish I lived closer but am in London. :beans:

If I find one you can have it. I see them quite often. Saw two in the Northern Berezino store, and one in the elektro store and one in an archway close to the elektro store. Of course, I leave them usually, as they take up space.

I arrive in Olsha only to be transported to Kamenka
Sula posted a topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Oh boy. How many times? I know it's an alpha but how many times is this going to keep on happening? I arrive at Kamenca but have to run from there maybe some days as often as 4 times - each time I end up starving and thirsty. It's get old so very quickly. :emptycan: :emptycan: :emptycan: :emptycan: :emptycan: And it isn't a separate hive or a hacker. It's routine, day in and day out even on the low pop servers I play. :( -
If a suspected hacker is holding you hostage...

So taking a lunch break, or time with family or going to bed at night, having a real life job to attend regularly, earning an income, eating real food, these are not legitimate reasons to abort? -

Cute but of no actual use. Nice company though. -
Where'd my post go? I've never killed anyone in dayz, never even shot at another player. I said when I joined this game that I would never shoot at anyone who was not shooting at me. And that's how I play the game. I have given blood transfusions, and banadaged others but I spend most of my time alone. My humanity is at 3750. Doesn't bother me if it goes up or not. Amusing to see people running around healing each other for a skin but at least they're doing it, I guess. I mean it when I say, I have not seen another player who is NOT wearing a hero skin. They all have the hero skin. I'm the only one I come across who isn't - I'm female and wear the female skin. But then I try not to waste my time with the sort of kids and men who PvP.

Well, I wish you luck with your venture, but it sounds like a lot of rules for little return for someone like me - bit of a loner who hunts for food, mainly alone. Good luck.

I read the thread about what you WILL do, and was wondering what exactly are the reasons to go there? It doesn't sound like a friendly place. Maybe I've missed something - it happens - what exactly is it for? If I need blood I'll ask for a medic's help, so I'm not entirely sure of the benefits of walking everywhere in a place where I can't find food? Are there large numbers of guards to shoot zombies, for example?

People have to hop servers sometimes and there is nothing wrong with that. I get kicked from servers sometimes in the first minute and get a battleye message fly passed my eyes. I've no idea why the bloody thing let me in if it didn't want me in the first place. Also, if you join a server and are transported, you try another server, to see if it's just a different hive. There lots of perfectly good reasons. What's shitty is people who surround the loot with barb wire and then hop to various servers to pick up the loot in that same place on various servers.

This is what happens when you bother answering these 11 year old boys and their dum questions. They don't know they're dumb, they haven't the intellectual capacity. Just ignore them.
