I must say, I use dayz commander and it works well for me on Overwatch servers, though I can't see any vanilla servers anymore. On overwatch we had a 50/50 full server last night, and there are quite a few with 15+ players a lot of the time too. It's a pity because the ingame server list is a mess for me. I haven't found a single server I can access on that list of many, many hundreds. It's disorganised chaos. Such a shame as I love the mod so much. I am only happy when I get to run up a beach with my axe, and search for a can of pepsi and some beans! I play for a few hours most days. The NPG server's a popular one, also The Hospital #2, and I think there's one I've played on called VOLTS, also popular. But as I say those are Overwatch servers. For a vanilla server, the only one I can get into is Musty's EU1 and EU2 but to be honest there's not much to do there, no vehicles or much in the way of food/drink etc anymore. Shame as it was a fantastic server. Our heli disappeared a couple of weeks ago but not been able to find anything since.

I have absolutely no idea what it is you're looking for, so I can't help you, sorry. PS I see the sa at the end of whatever it is you refer to. If that stands for standalone then you are in the wrong forum!

My pc has been fixed a few weeks now and I'm back playing. There are a few severs still running. But I'm mainly playing on overwatch servers, which are like vanilla but have food, weapons and vehicles. Personally, I love it and am playing up to 6 six hours a day/night. Some are crowded pvp servers, others are quieter hunting/survival servers. I play both. I recommend you give them a go. :thumbsup:

And no one should use it in public because it is deeply offensive to most people no matter their colour. Claiming something isn't meant "in a racist way means it isn't racism" is crap.

You're right, HW, it's heart breaking but it's also part of the game. We've all told similar tales. I survived for 181 days and got shot in the back by a kid I was trying to help. <_< Don't give up. Grit your teeth and start again. I'm in the UK and have just started playing again, now my pc is working after nearly a year of not being able to play. Feel free to join me if you see me on the servers. I never kill players and am happy to help out if you see me around. :thumbsup:

It's doing ok so far, Beav, let's hope it continues to do so. I love dayz in all it's guises. As long as I'm able to get up a beach with an axe in my hand, I'll be there! :thumbsup:

After nearly a year without DayZ Mod, my computer is fixed and I can confirm that Commander does still work and so does the mod, which is as great as ever. I play under the same name. Feel free to say hi if you see me on a server. :thumbsup:

If you don't have standalone it might be worth buying that as it's in development. The mod's my favourite game in the entire history of gaming. The standalone is somewhat complex and more challenging. :thumbsup:

It's interesting how much of an impact DayZ can have on you. I still remember the first time I was killed, some years back. I felt genuinely sick with shock that someone would kill me when I was unarmed and harmless. They just shot me in the back and ran by. It changed the way I played the game, had a big emotional effect on how I felt about other players, and made me play a much more solo game But I loved the challenge of changing the way I survive. Once the game gets into your bones, it's there for good. :thumbsup: Also, when I started to play this game most people didn't have mics. It was all typed. It was a different challenge. Now people are much quicker to shoot if they can't hear an immediate vocal response.
