Welcome to the forums, Bounty Hunter. You're doing great. Get used to dying is my best advice to you and BenjamK. When you have a lot of stuff, the first time you die is devastating. You have to drag yourself back up and start over. :thumbsup:

I agree, the best thing to do is practice in the armory or editor. Just place a heli on the map and then, like people say, use Q to start engine and lift off, use Z to go lower. You can use the mouse to move the head of the heli down which will make you plummet to the ground, or if done carefully, move forward. You can use the mouth to tip the rear of the heli, which will make it go higher/pull back so you don't plummet to the ground screaming. :thumbsup: :beans:

The mod gets changed far too much in my view. It's possible the level has been changed from 6k to dead. Check the latest change log, that might provide an answer. If not, maybe add it to a glitches/feedback thread on the latest mod update. :thumbsup:

Yep and it's much worse since the latest couple of updates, in my view. Though the penultimate one was worse. I crawled into Cherno on my belly, in the dark and while in a building, as I stood to a crouch I had a zombie growl from afar and then appear around a wall to attack me. It's crazy to me.

Actually, it might not be you. I've noticed the same in the recent updates. The just isn't an option to give a blood transfusion when one is clearly needed, and the same with wanting to fill a jerry can. I find I have to leave the server and go back in again. Mad.

Also, there are a couple of reasons why people end up as birds, and I think one of them said it can be due to a weak net connection. I remember another mod telling me about this recently but I can't recall who it was. I'll let you know if I find out more. PS Don't forget you need to update to the latest versions of the arma patch and dayz mod. :thumbsup:

Percy my concern was that you can't re-use a key if someone else has already played the game. So if someone had used the key then it can't be re-sold. It won't work. Perhaps a more experienced mod could confirm or clarify the situation as I'm just guessing, please?

I'm sorry, I don't see how we can. I suggest double checking that you bought the game off Amazon and not some private seller via Amazon, and then remove the game and re-install? That might help. Other than that I don't see what else you could do but get your money back maybe. Good luck.

I had this happen to me too. Honestly, I have no explanation. It just started to work one day. I did have to change the position I fill up at though. Sort of more to the middle instead of closer to the end. Sorry, friend. I wish I had an answer for you.

Hi Charlie, have a look in our Private Hive Discussion Forum. That's where you will find information on all the various servers and hives (hives are groups of servers). You can join as many as you like. Have a good read through and find a few that you like the sound of to start with. :thumbsup:

Well, now there are at least two sides to every story. I leave things alone. I would never steal a vehicle or destroy one I found. The other day I came across a big cammo land rover. It was full of stuff, including weapons and ammo. I stole one DMR magazine, and felt quite bad about that. But I didn't let it stop me from taking it. I needed the ammo. I left the other six so the owner would be fine.

I have that too. I assumed it was broken or I was doing something wrong. You can't speak in Direct and no one ever replies in writing when I type in it. Just use Side to write but only speak if you want to be screamed at and banned. Have fun!
