Do you think DayZ should be more frightening?
tufting replied to The Poacher's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
DayZ is an extremely tense game anyway, so why not make it even more tense :D Ghosts and anything extra like that would take the game to basically something completely different, we don't want 1000 different types of creatures and monsters and shizz around every corner. I'd like random weird noises, slight things to creep people out a lot. Also dramatic music when running away from Z's would be good :) -
rocket & team: When you fix disconnect exploits, do NOT announce it
tufting replied to ZedsDeadBaby's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I like this a lot! :D But I can't help think some people will post it all over the forums when they find out :P -
20 words or less: Super-Low Humanity Detection
tufting replied to rocket's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion

Did anyone else pronounce it as Day-Zee at first?
tufting replied to Rising (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Just depends on what accent you speak? Day zee Day zed Saying that I just called it Dayz as in one word, even though it's wrong :D -
Should I add sniper hotspots on maps?
tufting replied to mccullxch's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
People shouldn't even be given loot spots IMO. You learn with experience, DayZ is about survival with barely anything, this is what in-game maps are for. Don't help people, let them earn it!! -
Be happy you found one.

Issues with several weapons: Hatchet/Enfield...
tufting replied to tufting's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I take it from that, you mean, you fired it, it was loud, zombies chased you, you died? "Don't fire the Lee Enfield" -- I can't even if I wanted to!! But if one day it's my only weapon I'll want to :D -

Rocket is a sadistic bear f**ker
tufting replied to fish911503's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Are you having a laugh?? I'd like to see you make a better game, and be willing to make it free to everyone. This isn't our game, it's Rocket's game, he gives the community a hell of a lot of respect to get ideas over. F off if you don't like how DayZ is run, there are other games, and other things in life. -
I would also say that if it goes standalone, it needs to stay at the same System Requirements so everyone who can run it now, will be able to run it when it really hits its full version. That would give everyone the opportunity to play DayZ at its best, rather than being left behind due to their computers ability to keep up- one of the main issues with many people when it comes to PC gaming.

Dayz becomes stand-alone game, what happens to us?
tufting replied to erikgmez's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'd happily pay an extra fee for the full DayZ... Seeing as we actually payed for ArmA, we have what we payed for. We got DayZ for free so far. -
I Will Be Sad If This Gets Ported To Arma 3
tufting replied to Yeung-Jin's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Same for me, weird because my pc can handle ArmA2 fine, but on that "Can you run it" website, it says I can't run ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead or ArmA3 Thinking it will be a waste of money buying a pc upgrade that i might not have needed, but if I don't get it, il end up buying ArmA3 and maybe finding out it wont work... decisions. When it moves to ArmA 3 i atleast hope the ArmA 2 version will stay active. -
How much would you pay for a standalone?
tufting replied to Zexis's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
^exactly- in some sense people have paid for it, just not to the team who should have it :P -
I think monthly memberships would scare a lot of people off. and paying for each life?? really???
-
Game purchase only- monthly fee would see people lose interest and become expensive in the long run. But maybe with some sort of premium/membership/extra monthly fee- start with more stuff, maybe more loot, more camo's, more weapons in premium servers. Studio developed, with good community interaction and frequent updates or add-ons- as there is now.

This game won't be popular at release
tufting replied to mkrrr's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
"5 o'clock in the morning" Would every server really be full at that time?? -
I did when I first started playing, to help get to know places. Now I don't, I find it better to roam around rather than head for specific buildings, that way I end up searching more buildings and find more stuff. Plus it feels more realistic to move not knowing what is ahead, until I actually find a map.

Is there full bottles of whiskey? :P
tufting replied to kyle939's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
why not just get drunk in real life and play dayz? :P -
I think most people are worried about ArmA3 not working on their computer. I like the fact it will be much better in terms of gameplay, but maybe there wont be as many players due to this and "money" issues... I'd like to see it go into ArmA3, but also it would be good if DayZ on ArmA2 was still supported, with some servers - but ArmA3 as the main priority.

Gladiator Theme- Now We Are Free :P

Hi, today I went online to find the servers with different versions of Arma, loads of different numbers. Where can I easily find what the latest patch is? Sound like a right noob but I cant seem to easily find somewhere that always says what the latest version is.. Sorry for the noob-ism.

Thank you! This was the site I was actually looking for. I'll make sure I save the link :D

Everyone has lost a lot of stuff. Stop crying about it and get it again!!! It only takes a shot in the face to die, why not be the first to shoot?

You know you play DayZ too much...
