    I'm glad to say, i agree.EDIT They will release it when the dev team are happy with game, not when a part of the community is unhappy. Thats what i meant all along

    How so? You guys will still buy it even though how much anyone complains about the release date? The dev team will reach their stated objectives, getting 300 k sales with or without you being happy. EDIT What i don't have is facts in form of numbers, but not having a clue is you being frustrated with me for some reason

    your opinion that not releasing the game when YOU want is supported by MAX MAX 25%. 25% of 1600 k is still considered a win for the Dev team, so why don't you just realize that they don't really care what you are saying.EDIT 1 600 000-25%

    interesting thought, from what we know now from the mod, thats how it should be. But what we also know from the mod, zombies spawn loot, more things for the server to save, which they have said will reduce performance, hmm.

    Will there be a performance hit on the new pathfinding? Have read that performance will probably land on the same as it is now with the mod in terms of FPS. And it doesn't matter if you rush it out or taking your time, you will still have over 300k sales the first 10 dayZ of release, that I'm pretty sure of. 500k within a month 100% sure. 20-35 € times a couple of 100k is something. 1 mil players within 6-7 months for a shitty mod with a great idea, chances are good the numbers will improve with a awesome game with a lot of thoughts put into it
  7. Maybe after they have fixed this problem, if they do, if people still use the gamma and brightness to have a advantage then maybe we have a problem with abusing/cheating or whatever you guys call it
  8. How can u call a feature/asset/resource in the game cheating? Its there for a reason in ArmA 2, DayZ is a mod of that game, its the same engine, nighttime is unplayable on the real virtuality engine without NVGs or a another light source, we have been given a flashlight, most of the people playing don't use it, it would be a lack of logic thinking if you don't use the gamma ( people who does use it to get the right atmosphere is not counted, kind of )

    Around summer time was my guess 2. zombies are now in there walking around doing their thing, probably need some configuring, then they start to add more stuff, testing, configuring and so forth, then when they think they have something playable they will release the alpha, and my guess that will probably be in like 2-4 months, so around summer.
  10. VRAM=your graphics card video memory, the majority of people ( not a fact, only my thoughts ) have around 1gb

This is what worked better for me, but i believe now theres a problem for me running the game with default, this will probably only work for those with the same problem, extremely low fps with decent computer components. Also have done some testing with other tweaks such as the CpuCount, MaxMem, MaxVRAM, exThreads, configuring the .cfg files ( framesAhead, and that other one ) NONE of those tweaks gave me a single fps increase or decrease, doesn't have to mean something but there it is.

To make one thing clear, i have been playing arma and days since june last year, low frame rates isn't something new for me, have probably looked at every performance guide there is for arma 2 and days. Recently bought a 7850 1gb edition (OCed) for you who said something about a modern card, have a i3 550 3.20 and 8gb ram clocked at 1600 so my computer isn't really medieval old. And i know my cpu isn't the best not even close.
  14. But now i actually think i just have a problem elsewhere, dont know where that might be though. But if someone else getting terrible frames, you can atleast try this
  15. 18 fps avg with default video memory on Arrowheads benchmark, 52 with very high
  16. I did not code real virtuality 2 or 3 or whatever so i cant tell, BUT it did give me huge performance lift
  17. But havent seen a difference until i switched to very high video memory

  20. Im just doing like that guy wrote on the BIS forum and as far as i know they play ArmA 2 which they probably have been doing for a while now AND they probably know more then us IBoughtArma2Just2PlayDayz players
  21. Saw that launch options on BIS forum and he said to put it like 10 mb under so i just set it to 1000. Yea kinda had that figured but didnt know where else to put it
