Hey guys, i've started playing DayZ and F***ING love it! But basically, i uploaded a video with me playing on youtube with fraps, my problem is, is that i have small black borders on the side of the video. Can anyone with decent knowledge within this subject be kind enough to to tell me the best resolution to use 'in-game' to avoid this? I used 1200x800, which i am guessing is the wrong one to use. I no that when rendering you have to render as Widescreen, but that dosen't eliminate the problem, so its been concluded by myself that its a problem with the in game resolution. Help would be greatly appreciated at this current moment! Cheers :)

Hi, i have manged to sort a lot out. I can now join servers with no errors. My only problem now is that every server i join gets stuck on 'loading' right after the first loading screen, i can hear gameplay though. Can you please help me?

I have now downloaded it, and clicked 'run' on the .exe and it extracts automatically, it is now saying 'Arma II is not installed or is corrupt' Arma II is installed, but i think the path it is automatically extracting it is wrong or corrupt. Here is what it says on the read me: '===HOW TO INSTALL THE PATCH=== Run the patch exe to apply the patch setup automatically. It will install all content of the patch to the folder with your ArmA 2 installation (default is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 or Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2).' My Arma II is not located from where it says above, im guessing thats the problem? what will i have to do now, how can i change it? Cheers

Okay, i am downloading ARMA II update 1.11, i will try and install it and test to see if i can play and will post the results ASAP

Hello everyone, Basically i got ARMA II on CD (not on steam) and i watched a few videos on DayZ and was very excited to get it, i then realised you needed OA to play it. So off i went to buy OA (On steam). My problem is, is that both of the games are not on steam together, neither are they not on steam together, they are on both of them separately. I installed the dayz mod in OA on steam, and created a folder bla bla bla, but when i start it up through steam and try to join a server i get this error 'you cannot play/edit this mission it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted' People have said that you have to run it as 'Combined operations' - Obviously i can't because i dont own CO because i bought them separately , so im wondering if it is still possible to play DayZ depending on my current situation? Thanks, urgently need help!
