I had the same problem with build 93825. Rolling back to earlier beta (build 93701) fixed the problem. -

Whether the server is regular or veteran is irrelevant. Server admin can turn crosshair on and off in both of these difficulty settings. In ideal case, crosshair would be something that is always mentioned in the server name. Unfortunately at the moment crosshair setting is not a mandatory element in the server naming format. More info and discussion about that in here: Server Naming As for side channel, it is removed when you use latest ArmA 2 beta patch, and the server has the latest DayZ mission running which includes the side channel removal. By "download from internet" you mean stealing/piracy? If yes, we do not support piracy here at this forum nor provide any info about it. Otherwise, if you have ArmA 2 in Steam, then you should most likely also have OA in Steam in order to combine them. If it is non-steam, then any non-steam version should work for combining it into Combined Operations. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Hi! If you are referring to a BattleEye global ban, there is nothing DayZ staff can do about it. All people who have been detected using hacks got banned by BattleEye. If you feel you were banned unfairly, contact BattleEye support at http://www.battleye.com/support.html with some details.

Yes it does, on both images and in reality too. :) The effect is just not so big IRL. Edit: I think I see what you mean, the bullet in Dallas' image is not leaving exactly at the direction barrel is pointing at. The general idea is still right, bullet makes a parabolic path

1) Get off the coast 2) Avoid big cities (they are killzones at the moment) 3) Avoid military areas (killzones) 4) Be extremely cautious when meeting other survivors. How to put nametags on?

Crosshair (weaponCursor setting) has to be enabled for nametags to work. -
I use TrackIR 5 every day with DayZ and I strongly recommend it. It helps giving a better situational awareness. Check to get some idea of how it improves the gameplay.
