My server is often fully populated even at 3am. Its weird, even I wasnt expecting so many players for a new server, but its the server name that attacts people :) And no I certainly do not work for multiplay, loL !

The admin is likely not to tolerate people associated with hackers. If you ask the hacker to teleport you then your as bad as the hacker. If he does it without your consent then you are innocent :)

hackers are hackers. end of. dirty no-skill scum they are.

If all our items hadnt disappeared after a server restart I'd of gifted you an L85A2, we had loads of them, but now its all gone !!! :-(

Exactly the same is happening to my server. Our camp was compromised so we moved and setup +10 tents in a new location, we did multiple vehicle trips to transfer all our equipment, and now the server restarts and we have lost everything in the tents!! We had in excess of 6 AS50's, 3 Mk48s, L85s, SVDs, FNVAL NVs, etc etc etc everything, gone. FFS. All legit items, all found with hard work, and now, all gone.

the game needs to be free for people to play as they wish. open world. free for all.

With regards to your Day 4.... Multiplay clearly stated in the Clanforge news area that they were rolling back the Arma beta files to the earlier version because of stability issues. This didnt cause any problems for my server, and it was well populated the whole time. You're taking this out of proportion saying that you will never see any Multiplay servers as they are all out of date? What a load of bollox, you really dont know what you're talking about!

Guys I'm also hosting a 50 man server with MultiPlay based in London, UK. I can only sing their praises, they have been fantastic for me. I have asked them for a lot of help over the 2 ish weeks my server has been up, and they have always helped me fully. With Multiplay there is no access via FTP for DayZ at the moment, but everything is accessible via the ClanForge panel so it really makes no difference, but you would have known this before buying the server. They've helped me when I've fucked up the server.cfg they found my errors which were preventing the server from booting. They've helped me with setting up the script logging and with Rcon problems I was having with BE Rcon and Arma 2 Rcon. They've also set me up with a new profile now BE have released the new script detection features, and its working perfectly. They've also helped me with DayZ specific stuff which really is beyond the scope of what they should be helping me with, but fair play to them :) I knew before I bought with Multiplay that they are one of the more expensive GSP's, but you get what you pay for, 24.7 live support, and excellent customer service (in my experience).

What are you on about "the Rcon tools are open" ?? All that thread has done is copy and paste from the logs like I have. How is he clearly viewing the logs, again all he did was copy and paste !!!!

That thread as no more evidence than this one !! I copied and pasted the logs, plain and simple. If BattleEye want concrete proof then they can either contact my GSP for a copy of the log, or use their own BattleEye system to auto send a copy of what is auto generated into the remoteexec.log to their Battle Eye hive. Now whining post-banned hackers go away and leave this part of the forum to the admins who are reporting cheaters.

I'd report this to the admins on that server mate, that way they can look through the logs and ban the responsible cheaters.

Banning a player for hacking is acceptable, especially when Battle Eye itself informs me of the hack !!

Battle Eye will be able to see the logs from their end, they will be able to tell the logs are genuine, otherwise where is the proof? Without the logs it will be; he said she said. And yes, posting his IP + GUID is the whole point of this Cheat Reporting section of the DayZ forums !!

Hi guys, Im a new host of a server and am wanting to remove the crosshairs but keeping the game mode on Veteran. weaponCursor = 0; // Shows the crosshair for your weapon I have set this to 0 and still the crosshair shows, i then set it to 1 and it makes no difference, crosshair still shows. (and yes I have saved/uploaded the modified dayz.ArmA2OAProfile and restarted the server) anyone got any ideas?? Thanks

HI, In the Server.cfg it is set to veteran. I do not have a cfgDayZ.cfg or anything similar.... I have: BEServer.cfg ban.txt bans.txt script.txt scripts.log scripts.txt dayz.ArmA2OAProfile arma2.cfg ban.txt server.cfg

any ideas anyone?

it is my server... lol !! there is no hardcore mode, only regular, veteran, expert. Surely that command line is correct and it should remove the crosshair??
